Traffic Advisory

Summer Fridays are notoriously the worst traffic conditions for Chicago. If you are traveling in from Michigan or out-of-state on Friday, we strongly recommend leaving first thing in the morning vs. waiting until mid-morning or lunchtime. In a worst case scenario, this could save you hours in travel time. If you are traveling into the city from the suburbs, we strongly recommend taking the Metra. Not only will it be more reliable and likely faster than driving, but it is a safe option and you can even enjoy a beverage on the train if you'd like! We will have standard cabs stationed at Galleria Marchetti at the end of the evening for those who do not use Uber or Lyft.

Train

Metra

Metra is the best option for guests traveling into the city from the suburbs on Friday. Both Union Station and Ogilvie Transportation Center are a 5-minute cab from the wedding venue. We will have standard cabs stationed at Galleria Marchetti at the end of the evening for those who do not use Uber or Lyft.

Hotel

Hotel Zachary, Chicago, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Hotel Zachary is located directly across the street from Wrigley Field. Colleen has contributed to the brand development, grand opening, and marketing of the hotel. We were able to set up a favorable rate for wedding guests and we highly recommend staying here as long as rooms are available. UPDATE: Book early! Pending the situation with COVID, the Cubs are currently scheduled to play the Cardinals this weekend. The hotel was kind enough to honor the original rate, but the hotel is expected to sell out.

Hotel

Aloft Chicago Downtown River North

The ALOFT is a more affordable option at $150/night, in comparison to Hotel Zachary, where we have set aside a smaller room block for those interested. This ALOFT is located in River North and a 10-minute cab from the wedding venue. Reservations must be made prior to Tuesday, June 8. After June 8, no more group reservations will be taken. Check-in is 4 p.m. and Check-out is 11 a.m. You must call ahead to request early check-in, if desired.

Flight

O'Hare International Airport (ORD) and Midway International Airport (MDW)

O'Hare is Chicago's largest airport, located northwest of the city. Midway is also a great option, located southwest of the city.
