Rehearsal & Rehearsal Dinner

The Wedding Party and immediate family members will run through their rehearsal and have dinner together at Uncommon Ground.

For those staying downtown on Thursday night, you are welcome to meet us for a drink to say hello and kick off the festivities! Please plan to grab a bite to eat beforehand as it will be cash bar only with chips, guac, and salsa for munching. We have a semi-private space reserved on the second floor.

Semi-Formal: Gowns and cocktail dresses are welcome, and men may wear a suit or dark jacket with slacks
Guests may arrive as early as 5 p.m. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. followed by a cocktail hour 6 - 7 p.m. Dinner and dancing will run 7 p.m. - midnight. We strongly encourage the use of Metra, Ubers, Lyfts, and cabs. The venue is only a 5-6 minute ride from Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station. We will have standard cabs stationed at Galleria Marchetti at the end of the evening for those who do not use Uber or Lyft. Since our wedding is taking place on a summer Friday, please plan ahead for traffic. If you are traveling from the suburbs on Friday, we suggest using the Metra. If you are traveling from out-of-town on Friday, we suggest leaving in the morning vs. waiting until lunchtime. Trust us on this one :) If you absolutely must drive, valet is available at the venue for $14. Please be responsible and plan a safe ride home.

The Chicago Cubs play their National League rivals, the St. Louis Cardinals. We encourage anyone staying on Saturday to enjoy the game at Wrigley Field, a Wrigley Rooftop, or a bar in Wrigleyville.
