We're Getting Married!!

We met at... well, we’re not exactly sure! We’ve simply always been friends. Our best guess is that we crossed paths in 2017 thanks to mutual friends, and from there, something just stuck. In late 2022, Vincent made the first move and asked Grace to grab Cabo Fresh for lunch. He thought of it as a casual 'vibe check'. Grace, on the other hand, was fully convinced it was a date. We went out a couple more times after that, and then on October 28, 2022, we had what we can both agree was our first real date. We went to Cedar Beach for sunset, brought sandwiches for dinner (a dream setup for Grace), and just talked for hours - long after the sun had set and the deer started wandering out of the woods. The very next day - October 29, 2022 - we made things official. And from that day on, the rest has been our favorite kind of history.

When Vincent came home for the holidays during his first year away, we decided to go ring shopping - just for fun, to see what styles Grace liked. It turned out to be such a sweet and memorable day. We tried on ring after ring, giggling the whole time (and yes, Vincent even slipped on a few wedding bands for fun). A few months later, Vincent came home again for a weekend to celebrate our best friends’ wedding - and the very next day, on March 29, 2025, he proposed! We had originally planned to go out for a fancy dinner before heading to the beach for sunset… but Grace (still emotionally hungover and exhausted from the night before) had other ideas. She told Vincent she didn’t feel like getting dressed up and just wanted to head to the beach with sandwiches - just like our very first date. So off came the cute denim dress, and on went the yoga pants… and the claw clip. Lo and behold… she was being proposed to. Vincent popped the question at Cedar Beach - the very place where it all began. The wind was whipping, it was cold, and the sun was hiding behind the clouds… but the beach was quiet, the moment was perfect, and Grace said yes without hesitation.
