Flight

Seattle Tacoma International Airport

Flying into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport would be the easiest way to get to our wedding.

Travel Note

Ferry-Getting to Vashon Island

You will need to take a ferry to get to and from Vashon. There are two ferry options to travel to Vashon. The first is to take the ferry from Fauntleroy/West Seattle. The second option is to take the ferry from Point Defiance/Tahlequah in Tacoma. Please plan to arrive early on Vashon if you travel to the island on the wedding day. We recommend arriving at least 60 minutes before your selected ferry time. Ferry lines are often very long, and boats are rarely on schedule during summer. If you are coming from West Seattle, click on the 2 Boat Fauntleroy/Vashon route. If you are coming from Tacoma, click on the Pt Defiance / Tahlequah route. Please make sure that you are looking at the correct day, as this schedule will show you weekdays and weekend times.

Travel Note

There are several houses, cottages, and hotel rooms for rental on Vashon Island. Airbnb will show places for rent both on and off the island when you search. Before booking a property, make sure it is located on Vashon Island. We highly recommend booking as soon as possible as the summer is a very busy travel time on the island.
