Snapdragon is Vashon's oldest bakery. They have the best pastries in town. They also serve outstanding vegetarian cuisine.
The Hardware Store Restaurant
This is the oldest building on Vashon. They have excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner food. They also serve tasty drinks :)
Camp Colvos Brewing
Colvos Brewing Company is a very fun spot in the summer to grab a beer or two. There's lots of outdoor seating.
MAY KITCHEN + BAR
The Thai food at this restaurant is outstanding! We highly recommend reservations to dine at this restaurant.

They serve teriyaki and craft beer.

They serve house made ice cream. They also have fun retro video games for people to play.
The Ruby Brink
They serve great cocktails, wine, and beer. They are a butcher shop that uses whole animal butchery. The food is excellent. There are vegetarian options. We highly recommend getting a reservation if you plan to eat here.
Cafe Luna
Cafe Luna is a local coffee/tea shop. Fun spot to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Point Robinson Lighthouse
Come visit the spot where Dannah proposed to Meghan! The Point Robinson Lighthouse is such a unique and beautiful spot. It presents one of the most iconic photo opportunities on the island. The lighthouse is located on the east side of Maury Island. From the lighthouse, you can see the East Passage, the city of Tacoma, and Mount Rainier. The lighthouse has been in operation since 1885. There is beach access (expect very rocky beaches so make sure you wear hard soled shoes) along with picnic tables and walking paths. This is a great place to watch the sun set or partake in Meghan's favorite past time which is collecting sea shells and sea glass.
Vashon Adventures: Watersports
Vashon Adventures is a great spot to rent an e bike to see the island. You can also rent stand up paddle boards and kayaks. They also lead guided Kayak tours of the Puget Sound.
Island Center Forest 188th Trailhead
This is a great spot to visit if you enjoy hiking. There are 10 miles of trails that you can hike here.
Vashon Theatre
Vashon Theater is family owned and operated. It is a single screen movie theater that was built in 1947. It's a fun, old fashioned movie theater!
Vashon Island Farmers Market
Located in the downtown area. It happens every Saturday starting at 10 am. You can buy lots of fresh produce, flowers, locally made jewelry, art, and crafts.
