However, fate and some gentle nudging and encouragement from Tami McGuire (one of Meghan's bridesmaids) brought them together. A virtual first date led to a 9-mile walk on a frigid, rainy day in February, leading to them meeting up and getting stuck during a snowstorm. They felt an immediate spark and connection that made them feel they'd always known each other. Two years later, after countless trips, concerts, and drag shows, Dannah asked Meghan to marry her at one of their favorite spots, Point Robinson on Vashon.
