Litchfield County Farm House

This is the 3 bedroom Norfolk farm house with additional living room space for an air mattress that we have reserved August 13 and 14 and will use for the bridal party to get ready in before the big day. Since it’s only a 10 minute drive from Dennis Hill it will be open for any wedding guests throughout the reception who may need a respite from the outdoor merriment! We are still figuring out details of who is sleeping where but there may be a room or two open here the night of the 14th, and there is a couch and space for an air mattress we can provide along with sheets.

A Meadow House B & B

This 3 bedroom 1840 historic house in Lakeville CT with a large scenic property has two bedrooms with a queen bed, and a bunkhouse bedroom with 7 twin beds (3 sets of bunk beds and a single twin bed). It could be great for a couple of families with kids, or a group of friends who don’t mind bunking together! There is a fire pit and hot tub outside for guests to use as well, and ample parking in the meadow across from the house. It’s just under a half hour drive from Dennis Hill, and only 15 minutes from our cabin in Sharon! We have it reserved for the night of August 14, and total cost of the house is $516 with all taxes and fees, so people wanting to stay here can split up the cost by room usage. Locust Tree Bed & Breakfast

We have all 7 rooms of this historic bed and breakfast 15 minutes from Dennis Hill set aside for the nights of August 13th and 14th. It's a 27 minute drive to our cabin for those joining us for brunch. 2 rooms have private full baths for $130 a night 2 rooms have private half baths and a shared bath if you want to shower, for $120 a night 3 rooms have no attached bath and use a shared bath for $105 Rooms with bathrooms and half baths require a two-night booking, shared-bath rooms can be booked for just one. A homecooked breakfast that can accommodate any dietary restrictions including gluten free and vegan is included. They will only hold the rooms until July 14 so please email me at courtney.shaw.1@gmail.com and/or my mother Kathryn at katkellyteach@gmail.com as soon as possible if you are interested in staying here so we can assess how many out-of-towners need a place to stay, and can release any rooms that won't be used. Days Inn by Wyndham Torrington

The Days Inn in Torrington is 26 minutes south of Dennis Hill, on the way back down to Hartford area in CT. It's about a 35-40 minute drive to our cabin for those interested in coming by for brunch the day after the wedding. They have rooms with a single king bed or 2 double beds for $98-$130 a night, and they can be booked for single nights.

Americas Best Value Inn Torrington

This inn is 25 minutes south of Dennis Hill in Torrington, on the way back down to Hartford area of CT. It's about a 40 minute drive to our cabin for those interested in coming by for brunch the day after the wedding. They have rooms with a single king bed or 2 double beds for $94 a night, and king suites with a hot tub for $117. Rooms can be booked for single nights.

Sharon Country Inn

This little inn right in Sharon is only 6 minutes from our cabin (convenient if you plan on joining us for brunch the day after the wedding!), and it is about a 40 minute drive to Dennis Hill. They do require a two-night booking. We have several rooms set aside under my name August 13 and 14 so if interested in booking here just call and give my name. The rooms all have private bathrooms. The options are: Rooms in the inn with a king-sized bed for $219 Rooms in the inn with two queen beds for $239 One king suite in the annex is available for $269.
