So, now you have to come to Utah for a wedding against your will. How did things end up like this? Don't worry, we've compiled this list of our favorite spots & activities in this gorgeous state that don't involve converting to Mormonism. 1) Cecret Lake in Alta (pictured above). A beautiful 2- to 4-mile round-trip depending on where you start. We'll be planning a group hike here on Thursday, Oct. 5th (see details on Schedule page if you're interested in joining!) 2) Gloria Falls Trail. Can be accessed from Snowbird. We recommend using All Trails app. 3) Chair lift or tram rides to the summit of Snowbird. Gorg views, obvi. 4) Cliff Spa & Pools. Wedding guests get discounted rates on services! Slay. 5) Oktoberfest! Featuring activities, food & brews every Saturday & Sunday in October. 6) Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City (WARNING: highest probability of being converted to Mormonism) 7) Take a scenic drive through Big Cottonwood Canyon! Views for literal days.

Cecret Lake Trail

Alta, UT 84092

You can make this trail a 4-mile round trip by starting at the Albion Base. The Alta Shuttle will offer continuous loops every 30 minutes from The Cliff Lodge bus stop and Albion Base at the top of Alta. For more information regarding availability and frequency, please visit your hotel concierge. Or, you can call Canyon Transportation to make a reservation to and from Alta by calling 801.255.1841 or visiting their website.

Gloria Falls

Flat Campground Rd, Sandy, UT 84092

You can start this trail from Snowbird and make your way to White Pine trailhead. This adds another 2 miles to this trail starting at Snowbird which is primarily flat.

Oktoberfest @ Snowbird

It’s about more than just bending elbows. Oktoberfest at Snowbird is a family-friendly affair with activities, food, and, of course, brews for days — weeks actually. The highly-anticipated festival begins mid-August and lasts through mid-October, taking place every Saturday and Sunday, along with Labor Day.
