Snowbird is located 33 miles from the airport. It's about a 45 minute drive.
The Tram will be operating not only for wedding guests but for visitors of Snowbird. The Tram holds roughly 75 people and takes about 12 minutes to summit. That being said, we recommend that you get in line at least 45 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.
The Tram up to the ceremony will be FREE AF for all wedding guests on the day of the wedding. A complimentary ticket will be provided. Below is the pricing for a Tram ride on all other days: Adult: $35 Children (7-16): $28 Senior (65+): $28

Climbing to these elevations can bring on symptoms of altitude sickness: - High altitude: 8,000 to 12,000 feet above sea level. - Very high altitude: 12,000 to 18,000 feet. - Extremely high altitude: 18,000+ feet. The hotel is 9,000 feet and the wedding is at 11,000 feet. Symptoms of mild, short-term altitude sickness usually begin 12 to 24 hours after arriving at high altitude. They lessen in a day or two as you adjust. These symptoms include: Nauseous Lightheaded Headache Dizziness Fatigue and loss of energy Shortness of breath Loss of appetite Sleep problems Symptoms of moderate altitude sickness are more intense and worsen instead of improve over time: Worsening fatigue, weakness and shortness of breath Coordination problems and difficulty walking Severe headache, nausea and vomiting Chest tightness or congestion Difficulty doing regular activities, though you may still be able to walk independently. When drinking alcohol: The air pressure at high altitudes is lower than it is at sea level, which causes the body to absorb alcohol faster because oxygen levels are decreased. The typical recommendations for adapting are: - drink lots of water - for a headache take acetaminophen (Tylenol), ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), or naproxen (Aleve) - slow down and rest - eat plenty of snacks.
