Whitewater Center
Grab a day pass at this epic adventure park, and go whitewater rafting, kayaking, zip lining, rock climbing, hiking, and more!
Pilot Brewing
Casey makes beer here, so you should probably check it out. Take a walk around the Plaza Midwood neighborhood while you're at it. You'll find lots of shops, bars, and restaurants on Central Ave.
Funny Bus
The Funny Bus is a great way to get a quick tour of center city and surrounding neighborhoods, while laughing at inappropriate jokes and enjoying a cool beverage. It's BYOB, so stop by the 7th St Market across the street beforehand and grab some beer or wine to go. The tour runs about 90 minutes and stops at Heist Brewery for a potty break if you go overboard or, god forbid, run out of beer. Please note that the humor on this tour is off color and often R rated. The comedian on the bus may mock you if you get offended. Don't say we didn't warn you.

NASCAR Hall of Fame
Charlotte and NASCAR go hand in hand. Even if you aren't a NASCAR fan, this museum is "kid friendly, fun and awesome" according to Casey, taking you through the history of the sport and the cars behind it. It's across the street from the Embassy Suites and a particularly great activity in the event of rain.
Birkdale Village
Spend the afternoon walking around this cool little village of shops and restaurants, right by Kerry and Casey's house. We recommend Kilwins for ice cream or a caramel apple, Kung Foo for lunch, and Corkscrew for an adult beverage. You can also find nail salons and hair salons/barbershops here for pre-wedding preparation.

Beautiful day? Rent a boat or jetski and enjoy Lake Norman!
Port City Club
Grab a drink at the bar and go sit on the waterfront. They also serve food, though be forwarned that this restaurant operates at a southern pace.
