6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
This is a super casual spot with an indoor/outdoor vibe and live music. Come as you are, no need to dress up for this one! Kids are welcome, and there's even a playground out back for the little ones. The Boatyard Eats (BYE as the locals call it) parking lot can get crowded on Fridays, so considering taking Uber/Lyft if you don’t want to deal with a bit of a walk. Uber’s a little easier to catch here than Lyft, but both are available.

If a 7-10 minute walk with a small hill sounds daunting, go ahead and park our on our street. Our neighbors have been forwarned. If you’re healthy and readily mobile, please park at the movie theater in Birkdale Village and walk over. Park on the west side of the theater (to the left if you’re facing the theater out front). When you walk out of the lot, the theater and Birkdale Village should be to your left. You should go RIGHT. Walk maybe 50 yards and you’ll see a path on your right that leads down past a pond. Take the path down the hill, over a small bridge, and past the pond (which will now be on your left). At the end of the pond, the path will fork – take the left fork and you will end up in a cul de sac. Our house is right there, #8810. The whole thing is stroller friendly. If you’re staying at one our Lake Norman hotels and want a little exercise/aren’t in a hurry, you can actually walk here. It’s about a mile walk from each of the hotels.
