Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana

We have reserved a variety of rooms for our guests through DestinationWeddings.com. There is a 3-night minimum to book your room, which we suggest being Thursday-Sunday. To reserve your room directly with our certified destination wedding specialist, call Tom Starrett at 610-866-4689, or email him at tstarrett@destinationweddings.com. You can also reserve your room online by following the below instructions: 1. Visit: https://www.destinationweddings.com/Weddings/Guests/AttendaWedding.aspx 2. Click the purple “Find Wedding” button and type in this info: Last Name: Carson; Passcode: NICOLECHRIS2023 3. Register as a new user 4. Read the Important Information and click the pink + for room descriptions 5. Type in your check in date and number of nights you wish to stay 6. Choose your accomodations based on room and number of guests (rates listed are per person) 7. Confirm your information and purchase travel insurance, if desired.

Flight

Punta Cana International Airport

All guests should fly into the Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). The resort is located 15 minutes from the airport, and shared roundtrip transportation will be provided to you via DestinationWeddings.com. Some popular airlines that fly direct from the U.S to Punta Cana are Delta, JetBlue, American Airlines, Southwest, as well as United, Spirit and Frontier. The average price of a roundtrip flight from Boston to the Dominican Republic is anywhere between $400-$600, so we recommend using that as your baseline when researching flight deals. Here are some helpful sites to use when looking at flight options: 1. https://www.hopper.com/ Use their app to get notified when now's a good time to book your flight! 2. https://www.skyscanner.com/ Find the best deal by comparing all airlines 3. https://www.google.com/travel/flights (Try browsing in Incognito mode) *Note that Southwest is not included in the airline options. You will have to search flights directly on their website.

Things to Know

We have reserved a variety of rooms at both the Ziva family and Zilara adults-only sides of the hotel. Please note that this is not live availability, and Tom will have to confirm the room category you have requested is still available in the block. If you do not see the category of room you were hoping to book, please reach out to Tom and he will check with the resort to see if it's available to add for you. Be sure to double-check you are selecting a room on the side of the hotel you want---whether it be Zilara adults-only or Ziva family. IMPORTANT: You will not pay for the room immediately upon booking! It is simply a $100 deposit to reserve, and full payment will not be due until February 17, 2023. For this reason, we recommend guests book their rooms as soon as possible to ensure you get the type you are looking for.

Travel Note

Airport Transporation

Complimentary, round trip airport transporation will be provided by DestinationWeddings.com from the Punta Cana airport to the Hyatt hotel. Please note that this transporation is shared, and may be making stops at the select few other hotels in the Punta Cana area. If you would like to reserve private transporation at an additional cost, please check the box for "Get Transfers To/From Airport" on the room reservation website under Hotel Information.
