Callie and Kait first met at a Seven Lions concert in 2019 through mutual friends. After a few more concerts together, they formed a bond that would turn into an incredible friendship. They connected over their shared love for music, plants, dogs, crafting and of course, margaritas. Kait and Callie have the kind of friendship where they can do anything together and have the best time. Whether they're trying to learn how to shuffle in the living room or diving into DIY projects and crafts, their time together is always filled with laughter. No matter what they're doing, they simply love spending time with each other. One of Callie’s fondest memories is their trip to Milwaukee for her 30th birthday. Kait, in her thoughtful and caring way, arranged everything, making the celebration unforgettable. Kait is now happily married, and Callie was honored to stand by her side as her maid of honor. One of Kait’s most recent accomplishments was buying her own home, where she’s thoughtfully curated every detail to reflect her unique style. She shares this beautiful space with her husband and two furballs, who are the absolute loves of her life. Kait's selflessness and kindness define who she is, and Callie truly can’t imagine her life without such a beautiful friend by her side.

Callie and Cassie first crossed paths at a New Year's Eve party in 2016. At the time, Cassie was wrapping up her Master's degree and still living in Michigan, though she often visited Chicago. Eventually, Cassie made the move to Chicago, and from that point on, the two became inseparable. Their friendship blossomed over a shared love of music, traveling, skiing, and, of course, indulging in some good old trash TV. One of Callie's favorite memories is their unforgettable trip through Europe, where they attended one of the world’s biggest music festivals together. Cassie, always the adventurer, decided on a whim to move to Utah with her husband (then boyfriend) and their beloved dog, Spade. True to her nature, she dove headfirst into the beauty of the outdoors. Whether she's skiing down mountain slopes or perfecting her swing on the golf course, Cassie thrives in nature. Cassie is the epitome of a ‘boss babe’—driven, ambitious, and always inspiring Callie to push herself to new heights. She’s the ultimate hype woman, always there to lift Callie up and cheer her on.

Callie met Christina at a beach music festival in 2017, where they instantly connected, matching each other's energy in the middle of the crowd. They just knew they were destined to be friends! From that moment on, they have made it a point to have girls' nights as often as possible. Whether they are out dancing at clubs or lounging on the couch indulging in snacks, it doesn’t matter—they always have the best time together. Their friendship is filled with laughter, silliness, and pure joy, never failing to brighten each other’s day. Christina moved to Philly to be with the love of her life. She and her boyfriend enjoy running together for fun, sharing a passion for staying active. Christina also has a sweet bunny named Bun, who she loves to pieces. Though Christina has since moved to Philadelphia, their bond remains unshakable. She’s the kind of friend with whom Callie can always pick up right where they left off, no matter how much time has passed. Christina’s caring nature makes her an irreplaceable part of Callie’s life.

Callie met Shells through Kiley in 2022, and it didn’t take long for them to become close. Shells' warm, welcoming nature made it easy for their friendship to flourish. And of course, one of their biggest connections—no surprise—was their shared love for music! One of Callie’s favorite traditions with Shells is having game nights with their significant others. Those evenings are always filled with fun, laughter and healthy competitiveness, creating cherished memories together. Shells loves soaking up the sun with her dog, Opie, by her side. Whether she's relaxing by the lakefront or enjoying the warmth on her back patio, she’s truly in her element and at her happiest. What Callie values most about Shells is her incredibly big heart. She knows she can turn to Shells with anything, confident that Shells will always be there to listen and offer support.
Ashley Tully

Callie met Ashley in 2015 through mutual friends who insisted they were destined to be best friends. And they weren’t wrong! Over the years, Callie and Ashley have built a friendship full of fun and laughter. They even get told they look like twins when they're out together—though they don't quite see the resemblance! Their friendship is playful and full of joy, whether they’re playing games on the Switch, spending time swimming or relaxing in a hot tub, or hunting down every taco they can find. One of Callie’s favorite memories with Ashley was their girls' trip to Nashville, where they danced the night away. When Ashley isn’t hard at work shaping young minds as a teacher, you’ll find her cuddled up with her dog, Gary, or spending quality time with her family. Ashley is the kind of friend Callie can always count on for a carefree, fun time, and that sense of adventure is something she truly cherishes about their bond.
Grace Holland

Callie met Grace through her best friend and wedding officiant, Ben. From the moment they met, Callie knew Grace was one of those rare souls who doesn’t have a bad bone in her body. Grace has a unique gift of making everyone around her feel seen and cared for, always fully engaged in any conversation. Her openness and non-judgmental nature make her someone who can instantly make anyone feel welcome—and who wouldn’t want a friend like that? Though Callie and Grace are so different, that’s exactly why they get along so well. Their contrasting energies create the perfect balance, and together they can fill a room with laughter. Whenever they have the chance to chat, it’s always a blast. In her spare time, you’ll often find Grace curled up with a good book or strolling through the city with her dog, Carson, on the way to the nearest farmers market.

Callie met Ben during the COVID era in 2020 through mutual friends. Her adventurous side was instantly intrigued when Ben mentioned he skydives for fun on the weekends. What she loves most about Ben is how he's always up for anything—whether it’s going out to do something spontaneous or just coming over to chat on the couch, Ben is always down. Callie and Ben share a deep bond over their love for music, his perfect dog, Carson, the city of Chicago, and, of course, food. Ben is the kind of friend who finds joy in just about everything. In his free time, you can catch him skydiving, riding his one-wheel or EUC, exploring the latest hot restaurants, or traveling with his girlfriend, Grace. Fun fact: this is the second wedding Ben has officiated—he also officiated Callie's Maid of Honor’s wedding in 2023! He’s starting to look like a pro at this (maybe a new career path?). Ben is the perfect balance of fun and genuine, always lifting his friends up. Callie and Kiley couldn’t imagine anyone else marrying them.
Chris Mihovilovich "Miho"

Kiley and Miho’s friendship began in 2016 at the President’s “Welcome Back” picnic at Northern Illinois University (NIU), just days after Kiley transferred to finish his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. They instantly bonded over their shared passion for EDM. Even though Kiley hadn’t initially planned on joining a fraternity, Miho quickly convinced him to rush Delta Chi. Miho became Kiley’s “Big Brother” in the fraternity and the pair quickly became inseparable! The following year, Kiley and Miho went to Ultra Miami to celebrate Spring Break and Kiley’s 21st birthday—a trip filled with unforgettable memories. After college, their bond only grew stronger when they lived together for two years after Kiley moved to Chicago in 2020. Miho now lives in Milwaukee with his girlfriend, Ashley, and works for Discover. They hope to move to Colorado in the coming years when Ashley finishes PA school. Miho is one of the most considerate, authentic, and charismatic people Kiley has ever known. His great sense of humor and contagious laughter have a way of lighting up every room, and whenever Miho is around, Kiley can’t help but smile. Kiley feels truly blessed to have such a genuine and loyal friend by his side.
Tyler Peterson

Tyler and Kiley’s friendship began in 2016 at Northern Illinois University (NIU) when they met in the New Hall dorms and instantly connected over their shared experience in scouting, both having earned the rank of Eagle Scout. From that moment, it was clear they were destined to be close friends. They took many of the same classes, lived together as roommates for a year and a half, and even collaborated on their senior design project. In all that time, they never once had a fight or major disagreement. Instead, their connection grew so strong that they often finished each other’s sentences! Tyler lives in Duluth, Minnesota, with his wife Kirstin and their dog Mavrick. They’re in the process of moving into a new home and are thrilled to be welcoming a new member to their family soon. Tyler has always been hardworking, loyal, fun-loving and adventurous - traits that make him an incredible friend. He has continually inspired Kiley to grow and strive to be the best version of himself possible. Kiley feels truly blessed to have crossed paths with Tyler in college. Their friendship has not only endured but has grown stronger over the years, and Kiley is forever grateful to have such an amazing, lifelong friend by his side.
Andrew Peper "Pep"

Kiley and Andrew's friendship began during their senior year at Northern Illinois University (NIU) when they teamed up for their senior design project. From the very start, it was clear they were meant to be friends. Countless hours and late nights spent together in the engineering building led to great conversations, numerous shared struggles, and plenty of laughter that quickly deepened their bond. While working on their project, Kiley would often play EDM music, and it wasn’t long before Andrew was drawn in. Kiley eventually convinced Andrew to join him at an Illenium show the week before graduation. The experience was unforgettable, and Andrew had such an amazing time that he convinced Kiley to go back for another show the day before they graduated. From that moment, a shared love of music became a big part of their friendship, and they’ve since attended countless shows and festivals together. Andrew now lives in Chicago and works for ComEd. He remains one of the most thoughtful, compassionate, and kindhearted people Kiley has ever known. Kiley feels truly blessed to have such a loyal and caring friend by his side, someone who has made a lasting impact on his life.
Logan Schuh

Logan was Kiley’s first friend. They grew up on a closeknit cul-de-sac in Libertyville Illinois. Shout out Tracey Lane Fam! From Kiley’s earliest memories, Logan has always been a part of his life, and the bond they formed as kids has only strengthened over the years. Whether it was surviving cold nights while camping with the Boy Scouts or tackling tough subjects together in school; they have always had each other’s backs through every stage of life. After high school, Logan joined the Army as a linguist. He went on to attend West Point and graduated from Cornell University where he earned a degree in applied economics and management. Now, Logan lives in New York and works as an Equity Research Associate at Jefferies LLC. Logan has been like the brother Kiley never had, and he can’t imagine what his life would have been like without him. Their friendship is one that has shaped Kiley’s life in countless ways, and he feels incredibly grateful to have Logan by his side through it all!
Nathan Lightman

Kiley met Nathan in elementary school when Nathan’s family moved into the house across the street from him on Tracy Lane. On that day, Kiley was sitting on the curb, playing Pokémon, struggling to catch the elusive Nosepass. Nathan came over and taught him exactly where to go to catch one, and from that moment, they became best friends. Their families grew close, and throughout Kiley’s entire childhood and young adult life, they were always there for one another. When Kiley was in community college, his parents moved to Rockford, and the Lightman’s graciously opened their home to Kiley, giving him a place to live while he finished his associate's degree. Nathan’s adventurous spirit has taken him and his fiancée, Molly, on incredible journeys, including hiking the Appalachian Trail and exploring South America. Now, they’ve settled in Libertyville, Illinois and are planning a wedding of their own! Nathan’s supportive, compassionate, and benevolent nature has always brightened Kiley’s life. Growing up alongside Nathan was a true blessing, and Kiley feels incredibly lucky and grateful to call him not just a great friend, but a “rent-a-brother”.
Will Todd

Kiley and Will first met in 2021, shortly after Kiley started dating Callie. From the beginning, they quickly bonded over their shared passion for grilling, trading tips and recipes to make at their next friend group dinner parties. Will has a green thumb and maintains an impressive collection of house plants. He has graciously shared this interest with Kiley over the years. He propagated a snake plant for Kiley and gifted him several succulents, which Kiley made into a terrarium. Both are still thriving on Kiley’s desk at work. In 2023, Will honored Kiley by asking him to be one of his groomsmen at his wedding. Will and his wife Kait now live in Western Springs with their two beloved dogs, Nelly and Koda. Will is a thoughtful, generous, and all-around amazing guy. Kiley feels incredibly fortunate that Will came into his life, and he cherishes the close friendship they have built together.
Corey Van Oost

Kiley and Corey met in 2021 when Kiley began dating Callie, Corey’s sister. Their connection deepened during one of their early outings: a trip to the ski hill, where Corey and his girlfriend, Sam, joined Kiley and Callie on one of their first dates. Kiley was impressed by Corey’s athleticism and the array of tricks he could perform on his snowboard. It was clear that Corey’s passion for adventure matched Kiley’s own, setting the stage for a budding friendship. Corey now resides in Chicago with Sam. Whether he’s excelling in his career or finding time to enjoy life’s adventures, Corey approaches everything with a thoughtful and considerate attitude. Kiley feels incredibly fortunate to have developed such a strong bond with Corey and is not only grateful for their friendship but is also excited to soon call him his brother-in-law!
