Kiley and Callie had known of each other for a while, sharing plenty of mutual friends, but their paths had never truly crossed. That all changed in January 2021, during quarantine. In true millennial fashion, Kiley decided to slide into Callie’s DMs—right after she had her wisdom teeth removed. He reassured her that her chipmunk cheeks were still adorable and that no one would even notice the swelling. Callie, being the adrenaline junkie she is, decided to put Kiley to the test and invited him to go skiing with her and her friends for their first date. Despite injuring his leg, Kiley was a trooper and passed the test with flying colors. After that, they went on many more dates, getting to know each other, and Kiley officially asked Callie to be his girlfriend on April 6th, 2021. Since then, Kiley and Callie have shared their love for music by attending countless concerts and festivals together. They’ve taken trips to explore new places and visit friends who’ve moved away, with one of their favorite trips being a Valentine’s Day ski getaway to Breckenridge. They’ve also become major foodies, with most of their recent dates centered around trying the hottest new restaurants or cocktail bars in Chicago. And of course, there are the cats—who are impossible to forget! Kiley already had an orange tabby named Nemo before they started dating. Although Callie grew up as a dog person, Nemo eventually won her over. The couple later rescued another tabby off the streets of Chicago and named her Dory. These two furballs have quickly become the center of their world. Kiley spent his childhood going to camp in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, while Callie cherished her visits to a family friend’s cabin in the same area. The beauty of this place and the fond memories they both hold there made it the perfect location for their wedding. They can’t wait to bring all their friends and family together in this special spot to celebrate the next chapter of their lives. They hope you all enjoy "Up North" as much as they do.
