What will the weather be like?

Santa Barbara weather is generally... perfect. That's why it's known as the "American Riviera." That said, it can get chilly in May, especially at night, so we recommend packing and dressing accordingly, including an outer layer for the Zoo Wedding after sundown.

If you are traveling with your small children they are welcome to join us at the Welcome Reception and Farewell Brunch. We are insisting that everyone be ready to party on our wedding day so the ceremony and reception are adults-only. What do I do about travel and lodging?

Answer

Book ASAP if you haven't! Memorial Day Weekend is *very* popular in Santa Barbara. AirBNB is a great option as hotels can get quite expensive, especially as the date approaches.

I'm coming from far away -- where should I fly into?

Answer

LAX is going to have the most options. You can rent a car or take a train or shuttle bus up to Santa Barbara. Don't forget we're getting married on Sunday and events start Saturday so you can take your time or get up to Santa Barbara on Friday and enjoy an extra-long weekend. If you're on the West Coast or don't mind a connection, there is a small airport in Santa Barbara that flies some United, American, Alaska, and Contour Airlines flights.
