Disneyland Park
The Happiest Place on Earth! We went here Dec 2016, went on fifteen rides and got churros! We recommend it. Oh, and the Dole whip ice cream at the Tiki Room. THE BEST.
Universal Studios Hollywood
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Need we say more? We're planning to get a group together to go at some point around the wedding- let us know if you want to join us!
Griffith Observatory
If you want to put on your own production of La La Land, make the trek up to Griffith Observatory- you won't be disappointed! It's really close to the infamous Hollywood sign and not far from many other classic LA sights to be seen.
Torrey Pines State Reserve
We go hiking here every weekend. You can't beat the views- except maybe at Salt Creek Beach!
San Diego Zoo
We are annual pass holders and love to go visit the animals! There is also a sister Safari Park a little farther north in Escondido- both are worth a look!
Balboa Park
Beautiful park (where we took our engagement photos!) with the historic San Diego vibe. Check out the Museum of Man or walk around the colorful Spanish Village Art Center!
North Park Beer Company
The first brewery we checked out in San Diego. Very fun atmosphere and near a lot of other hot spots.

Grand Canyon
If you're able to make the trek out to Arizona (it's an 8 hour drive from us), visiting the Grand Canyon is one of those bucket list things. We stayed in an Airbnb in Flagstaff (about an hour drive from the south rim), but there are hotels closer- they're just quite pricey. Feel free to ask us for any tips!
Joshua Tree National Park
We spent a weekend in Palm Springs after making it to California and spent a day at Joshua Tree. Worth taking a look if you're out that way at all!
