Question

How cold is it in Quebec City in February?

Answer

VERY COLD! On average, the high is around 23 degrees Fahrenheit and low is 8 degrees. We suggest packing warm clothes and snow boots!

Question

Besides my white attire, what should I pack?

Answer

In Quebec, outdoor winter temperatures vary between 5°C and -25°C (41°F and -13°F), so it's important to dress accordingly. We recommend that you add the following items to your suitcase : The three-layer technique is recommended : The inner layer (underwear) should allow moisture to escape from your body. Synthetic or wool clothing is recommended. Avoid wearing cotton, as it retains moisture. The middle layer must insulate the air and control humidity. A wool, flannel, or fleece sweater is recommended. The outer layer must cut wind and moisture without compromising comfort or mobility. Remember that children cool off more quickly than adults. In case of extreme cold and to avoid frostbite, return regularly to warm up inside a heated building. - Coat resistant to -15 degrees Celsius (minimum) - Thermal clothing under suits or dressers - Hat - Scarf - Gloves - Hand warmers (we will provide some!) - Large Sock - Winter boots

Question

What is the attire for the Wedding?

Answer

All guests are required to wear white! Outer layers to protect you from the cold don't need to be white! We request white outfits for the reception. White includes cream and ivory too. Gray or khaki pants are okay, but no black. Black shoes are okay!

Question

Will we have time between the Ceremony and Reception to change?

Answer

Yes! The Ice Bar Happy Hour closes at 5:45 pm and the Reception opens at 6:00 pm. You will have time to shed your layers, change your shoes, and warm up. You are allowed to leave the Happy Hour early if you need more time. Please arrive at the Reception no later than 6:10 pm.
