Optional Activity: Snow tubing with the Bride & Groom!

Hotel Valcartier has an entire Winter Playground that includes a large Snow tubing park for all levels of snow tubing from family friendly to extreme. Welcome Event

Bundle up in your warmest gear to enjoy the sites of Quebec's famous Winter Carnival!

We will meet in the lobby of Hotel Valcartier at 6:15 pm to board a shuttle that will take us to INOX Brewery. Drinks are on us! A few of the sites of the Quebec Winter Carnival are near the brewery, feel free to join us for a drink and then go explore, or just hang with us at the brewery the entire time! The shuttle will leave INOX Brewery at 10:00 pm to take us back to Hotel Valcartier.

Wedding Ceremony and Happy Hour

3:30 pm - 5:45 pm

Jackets, Gloves, Hats over your formal WHITE attire!

Please meet in the Hotel Mezzanine at 3:30 pm to check in with the Hotel Coordinator who will give you your pass to enter the Ice Chapel. The Hotel Coordinator will escort guests to the Ice Chapel at 3:45 pm. The ceremony will begin shortly after all guests are seated. Dress warm! The average temperature in the Ice Hotel is 23 degrees F, so wear your jackets, gloves, hats, and snow-friendly shoes to the ceremony. Post the ceremony, join us at our private ice bar for a chilled cocktail. You may be chilly, but we will be providing complementary internal sweaters (aka, alcohol) for warmth.

Reception

6:00 pm

Guests are REQUIRED to wear white.

Don't worry this event is INSIDE! We gave you time between the Happy Hour and Wedding reception to allow for time for you to shed your coats and change as you see fit. Don't forget, we are asking all guests to wear white! Any shade of white is acceptable (ex: ivory, cream) and gray or khaki pants. No black pants please. Black shoes are okay! Dinner will be served, followed by dancing, partying, photo-boothing, good times, and celebration!

Bundle up in your warmest gear to enjoy the Canoe Races as part of the Winter Carnival!

Tickets for the ferry boat that the bride & groom are on are now sold out. However, you can purchase tickets for the party on the South Shore (we are on the North Shore) can be purchased here - https://lepointdevente.com/tickets/car231221001 Ticket includes: Admission to the Lomer-Gouin ferry (anchored in Quebec City) and its heated and non-heated floors, open bar (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), music and festive atmosphere onboard, access to the heated passengers’ lounge. A unique opportunity to see the athletes up close and experience this winter sport in all its glory! We will also be hanging out that day at the Winter Carnival so feel free to catch up with us post the Canoe Races!
