Do you film destination weddings?

Definitely! While we’re based in Central Florida, we’re available for destination weddings worldwide. If your wedding is in or near St. Petersburg, Tampa Bay, Lakeland, Orlando, or Daytona, travel is included in our prices. For events over 1 hour from any of these metropolitan areas, we’re happy to come to your city for reasonable compensation fee to cover the cost of gas and, if needed, reasonable overnight accommodations.

Do you film elopements?

Absolutely, we love elopements! All the love and joy, less stress! Check out our packages for the most minimal of elopements, as well as a package for elopement that still accounts for some extra bells and whistles. Please note that to be considered an elopement, there must be less than 20 guests in attendance, not including bride and groom.

Question 3

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Once you know your wedding date, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible about our availability. We film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service. On average, couples book between 6 and 18 months in advance, but we often get last minute requests we are able to to take, so don't hesitate to reach out even if your date is coming up soon!

Who will edit our wedding video?

All footage is edited by Jessica, owner of Tread Brightly & your personal videographer and editor :) We do not outsource editing to 3rd party businesses. You footage and story is too personal to be left to someone who was not there experiencing the moment with you.

Question 5

Who else can see our wedding video?

Accepted Answer

All videos are delivered to you via secure & private link for you to download. The highlight film, at your consent, will be uploaded to YouTube to be easily shared with friends, family, or social media. This is a public link and can be seen by anyone. We respect everyone's right to privacy, and at your request, the video can be made "private", so only those with the link can view the video. Tread Brightly Media reserves the right to share the highlight film, individual clips, or still images as promotional materials as proof of our work.

Why do we need more than one videographer at our wedding?

While our most basic "a la carte" video service only includes 1 videographer, we highly recommend having 2. This is largely due to 2 factors: 1) looking after and carrying lots of heavy, expensive, and fragile camera equipment to multiple locations is very difficult alone, and 2) we make sure we can split up and capture multiple simultaneous moments of the day (i.e. groom getting ready while bride has a first look with dad; guests enjoying cocktail hour while the couple takes post-ceremony portraits...). Trust us, having 2 sets of eyes and hands in this job is WAY better than trying to capture everything alone :)

What does the booking process look like?

Booking is super easy! 1. Just reach out via Zola. We'll respond ASAP, typically within 2 hours. 2. We'll respond to any questions you've posed in your inquiry and set up a time to chat on the phone or Zoom/video call. 3. We'll send you a contract. You fill out the basics, e-sign, send back, and send your $250 retainer to hold your date, and BOOM! You're good to go!

Question 8

Do you require a deposit? What does the payment process look like?

We like to keep this as simple and straightforward. We ask for a $250 non-refundable retainer to hold you date, along with the signed contract, to complete the booking process. After that, the balance of your package can be paid up to 5 business days before the wedding in any installments you like. We accept card payments, Zelle, Venmo, Cashapp, and other bank transfer apps.

Do your prices include travel?

For the most part, yes! We are based in Orlando, perfectly situated to travel to couples all throughout Central Florida. We consider anything within a "2 hour" radius of Orlando our included service area. This includes: Sarasota/Bradenton, Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater, Vero Beach, Space Coast, Daytona, St. Augustine, and Gainesville. Anything in that circle, we are there with no extra charge to you. After that, we ask for a modest travel stipend to cover the cost of our gas and time driving. At 4 hours of drive time or more, we also may request an overnight accommodation stipend.
