The Trolley Barn is a stunning historical setting to host an enchanting wedding and reception with your closest loved ones. Perfectly positioned away from the urban areas of the city, this venue rises from a tree-lined neighborhood in Inman Park filled with restored Victorian-style properties. Equipped with a variety of elegant details, every direction you turn within this venue is sure to remind you of an earlier time

The Trolley Barn has been carefully restored to its original splendor and renovated to accommodate modern events. The spacious 2,730-square-foot main hall features soaring 30-foot ceilings, handsome exposed wood beams, mesquite wood floors and festive lighting. The main hall can accommodate up to 250 wedding guests for standing or buffet-style events, or up to 225 seated guests. A brick patio surrounded by lush gardens and graceful granite steps can accommodate ceremonies or additional guests during warmer weather. This venue also includes an adjacent serving kitchen, 800-square-foot mezzanine overlooking the hall and 2,400-square-foot general purpose or staging room.

Included with the rental is the use of the main hall, kitchen, mezzanine, and patio areas as well as all of our tables and chairs. An event attendant is on site during the event. If the wedding ceremony is at the Trolley Barn, a one-hour rehearsal is included at no additional charge.

    Best Venue!

    We absolutely LOVED our wedding experience with the Trolley Barn. It had been recommended to us by friends and we toured it in January 2024. It was on a rainy day, but we still fell in love with the venue. We booked shortly after for our March 2025 wedding. Julie was a great help nailing down details and helping recommend other vendors. We had our rehearsal the day before the wedding and were able to drop off all our alcohol, decor, and cakes ahead of our wedding. The actual wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. The outside garden and front area made a great setting to take pictures before the ceremony. We then held our ceremony and cocktail hour in the courtyard. Everything was starting to bloom for spring and looked wonderful. Then, we moved inside for the reception. The space perfectly accommodated our 150 guests - we had a head table surrounded by round tables and had a couple high boy tables and a photo booth upstairs. We then picked up any remaining decor and alcohol the next day. Julie was such a pleasure to work with through the whole experience. We love The Trolley Barn! It’s a must-book venue for anyone wanting to have a wedding in Atlanta.

    Julie and the Trolley Barn were such a pleasure to work with. It’s such a beautiful space with a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor space at a reasonable price. Couldn’t imagine our special day anywhere else.

    Fantastic venue

    We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Trolley Barn. After visiting multiple vendors, it was such an easy pick. In addition to the beautiful indoor/outdoor space, Julie was so easy to work with. Highly recommend!

    UNIQUE & EASY TO WORK WITH

    I am a vendor with The Trolley Barn and have been for many years. You will find them easy to work with and if you are looking for that beautiful outdoor garden for your ceremony and indoor chic reception... you have found it. This location can be transformed into classic, country, themed or what you consider your look. Just come and look... it will be hard to say no to this historical landmark located in midtown.

Yes. The main hall is 2700 square feet; the patio is 2500 square feet; and the mezzanine is 700 square feet. Wedding ceremonies can be held inside or outside; wedding receptions are usually held inside.
The Trolley Barn rents for a block of time depending on the day, time and month of your event. The block of time rented includes the setup, the event and the take down/clean up. For specific information, please review the fee schedule.
The Trolley Barn accepts personal and business checks, cash and credit cards (3% processing fee).
BYOB! Alcoholic beverages dispensed at no charge to event guests do not require licensing. If you anticipate a cash bar, you must satisfy all local, state and federal licensing and taxing issues. We can refer you to bartending services who can handle this for you!
Yes. The maximum decibel allowance, measured from the mezzanine, is an average of 90 decibels as measured by our event attendant. 90 decibels allows for a good dance level and comfortable socializing for guests. The Barn strictly enforces the sound policy because of our location in the middle of a residential neighborhood.
Yes. The maximum allowable tent size is 30 feet by 50 feet. Tents are weighted by water-no stakes are permitted in the lawn.
Yes. Non-profit rates are available to 501(c)(3) organizations. See more info on the Non-Profit page
Yes! We have two getting ready suites! One is located on the lower level and one in the mezzanine loft.
To secure a date at the Trolley Barn, we require the completion of a Rental and Deposit Agreement and a deposit of one-half of the base rental fee. The deposit is non-refundable.
The Barn must be closed by 1 a.m. for Friday and Saturday events and by 12:00 a.m. for events Sunday through Thursday.
The Trolley Barn has 10 on-site spaces on the side of the building and two handicap spaces at the main entrance. Additional 52 off-street spaces are available at two lots, one directly across the street from the Barn and one a half a block from the Barn. Parking is also available on both sides of Edgewood Avenue. There is no charge for parking.
