The Great Hall

The historic flagship venue

The Great Hall, our flagship venue, is known for its history as the Officer’s Club built in 1941 by the Army Corps of Engineers. Its stunning high beams, draping chandeliers, and natural cut logs create a one of a kind, majestic room. The venue features and upper and lower level, dual fireplaces, a private deck, extensive natural light, and a setting you cannot find anywhere else.

Sunriver is a beautiful and accommodating venue to book your big day! Truly, from the coordinating, setup, chef & staff, bar service and support team, everyone was above and beyond amazing. Our main point of contacts were Kelly & Shelby and they did everything to align our special day to a dream setting in working with our vendors. They went above and beyond to personalize and make it real for us. The food was phenomenal, everything was delicious and the portions were fantastic, our guests are still talking about it. The bar & wait staff was so AMAZING and streamlined so all our guest were covered at all times. Our vendors were treated amazing. In general, only have great things to say, this venue is naturally beautiful and provides so many options for your big day and the staff truly made it so easy to align, highly recommend this venue!

Working at Sunriver Resort as an Event Planner for the last several years has been nothing but a wonderful experience each and every time. Their staff is professional, knowledgable and always willing to bend over backwards to make the day as seamless and easy as possible, not only for the Bride and Groom and their families, but for the vendors involved as well. From the available amenities they offer to the food and accommodations, Sunriver Resort is one of my highest recommended venues to host your wedding at in Central Oregon!

No, we are happy to provide our local and distinguished options for your event.

Yes, parking is available complimentary for all guests.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

Your reservation starts at 3p for set-up and your event can go to 10p for indoors and 11p for outdoors.

As a convenience to your guests you will reserve a block of rooms with your wedding contract. While we reserve these discounted rooms for your guests, any Sunriver Resort home or condo can be reserved and will count towards your block.

Within two weeks of signing your contract 25% of your estimated total will be due. From there we have a planned deposit schedule with incremental deposits due leading up to 30 days before your wedding where the final estimated charges are due. After your wedding, we will provide you with an invoice for any additional expenses occurred the night of (such a bar).

For fifty guests or more Sunriver Resort requires that you hire a professional wedding planner to assist you with your wedding rehearsal, ceremony and day of event. Our Sunriver team would be happy to provide a list of preferred vendors. Our Catering Service Manager will work with you and your professional wedding planner on the details of the day and all the services through Sunriver Resort.

We will provide you your set-up time 30 days prior to your wedding and will always ensure you have enough time to make your vision come to life!
