About this venue
Our venue is a restaurant/brewery that is very open and airy. We have high ceilings and exposed wood beams. Our company was started by 3 Dads. They all live in Scarborough and have children in the Scarborough school system. 1 is the Brewer (Michael), 1 is the Builder (Tim) and one is the Executive Chef (Jeff). Amazing Wedding Experience
We had the best experience having our winter wedding reception at Nonesuch. We rented out the entire venue for about 120 people and there was a perfect amount of space for our guests. The brewery itself is beautiful and was great for wedding photos. Heather and her team were so amazing to work with, the entire planning process was so stress free due to the fact that Heather is so organized, patient,and fun to work with. We were able to do anything we wanted when it came to decorations (which Nonesuch set up for us), moving tables, and the food and drink menu-- we didn't feel restricted at all with the things we wanted to do. Our guests are still raving about the food and drinks almost 4 months later! We cannot thank Heather and the Nonesuch team enough, they went above and beyond for us and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. I would highly recommend having a wedding or any event at Nonesuch Brewery.
Great Venue, Great Food, Great People, Great Day
We cannot express enough how amazing it was to work with Nonesuch on our wedding this past August. Heather & her team made everything so easy and fun along the way. We enjoyed the process so much we had extra tastings just to come hang out at the venue. The day of was spectacular, we felt so taken care of, and honestly after it was all over and we came back to pick up our decorations, we stayed for lunch and a beer as the whole crew felt like family. We'll be coming back to Nonesuch for years to come, thank you all for such amazing service. Amazing Wedding Reception Experience!
We just had our wedding reception at Nonesuch, and we don’t have the words to adequately express how amazing our entire experience has been with the team here. From the very beginning, Heather and the team made us feel welcome and at home while we were planning our reception. Heather is so attentive, patient and kind when it came to all of the details we asked for. She consistently communicated with us throughout the entire planning process, going above and beyond helping us have our perfect reception. Heather and her and her team pulled off everything we asked for, and then some! We had a small intimate wedding of about 40 people, and the upstairs loft and patio space was perfect for our group. The food and kitchen team made our food requests better than we could have imagined, and Marina, the in-house pastry chef made our “dream cake” better than we could have even imagined! We also worked with Michael to create our own “small batch wedding beer,” and this was such a nice, personalized touch that they offer to wedding couples! Our guests are still expressing how awesome they thought that was, and how much they loved all the food and drinks. Thank you a million times over to Heather, Michael, Marina, and everyone at Nonesuch for giving us the most epic wedding party!
Beautiful Space for a Wedding of any Size
The staff at Nonesuch truly go above and beyond! The space and location is beautiful (situated close to Maine's most beautiful beaches and a 10 minute ride to downtown Portland). We rented the entire space for our wedding, however, they have many options to beautifully accommodate smaller celebrations. Everyone that we worked with carried out our vision- even better than we could have imagined! They truly tailored everything to our requests. Heather could not have been more attentive, patient and gracious throughout the entire planning process. Jeff and Steve coordinated the freshest food and most delicious drinks for all of our guests. They worked closely with us on crafting the perfect menu for our tastes. Our friends and family have been raving about the food and beers since the wedding! All of our guests also spoke very highly of the wonderful staff! The night of our wedding Ali was there to assist our bridal party throughout the event. She was incredibly intuitive and attended to our every need- whether she was refilling a glass, arranging special plates, or locating the photographer. We appreciated having her take such amazing care of us! We would highly recommend Nonesuch River Brewing Company to anyone looking to book a wedding there. We have seen the space transform for different events and we are certain that no matter what the vision may be for their special day, the staff at Nonesuch River Brewing can make it happen!
