The stunning view from the top of the Fish Rock Watch Tower overlooking the Pacific Ocean at the Mendocino Stone Ranch is a memory made to last. Perched at the top of the ridge overlooking the Pacific Ocean – Mendocino Stone Ranch is the perfect unique venue for a wedding. Mendocino event venue Stone Ranch boasts over 30 one-of-a-kind stone masonry art installations and 3 homes that sleep 26 people, linked by trails through beautiful redwood forest with stunning ocean views. There are many outdoor spaces to gather and celebrate; numerous stone patios adorned with artistic detailing are perfect locations for cocktail hour, dinners, dance floors, and more. Take a walk on one of our trails and immerse yourself in the sounds of the redwood forest around you. Dry-stack schist bridges, retaining walls, sculptures, arches, and installations created by artisan masons are at every turn, tempting your guests with an expansive outdoor art gallery to explore throughout your stay with us.

The Fish Rock Watchtower is a 35 foot stone tower surrounded by a 1800 sq foot stone patio overlooking the Pacific Ocean

Aperture Art Installation - Ocean Views
Looking through Aperture to the Pacific Ocean will frame your love in timeless beauty that you'll cherish in photos forever.
Aperture is an Academy Black Granite dry stack stone installation that frames an ocean view through the trees. In front of the installation is an area that can fit about 70 chairs. Its a smaller ceremony site with ocean views framed by redwoods and manzanita trees. The Fish Rock Watchtower is within direct view of Aperture and adds to the regal beauty of the site.

The Pergola
The Pergola Patio will take your breath away
The 40x60 ft Pergola Patio is framed by a small grass meadow, Redwood and Douglas Fir trees, and is perched on a hill about 300 feet high. Our red sandstone roman arch, located 50 feet in front of the pergola and connected buy a stone-lined trail acts as an entryway to the Pergola, adding a romantic element to the space. The arch is 100 ft away from the Pergola. The Pergola itself is made out of mica quartzite schist rock, which glimmers in the sun with it's natural mica content.

The Redwood Cathedral
Framed in Redwoods, Rooted in Stone
Our 1000-year old old growth redwood tree towers above the redwood cathedral, framing it in shade formed by its high canopy. A hand-laid swirled pebble walkway leads you out to the site, a cobblestone patio overlooking the redwood forest below. Beyond the walkway and cobblestone area is a small grassy meadow that can hold about 100 chairs, perfect for your guests. The Redstone House is also located near this ceremony site - with the deck overlooking it.

Absolutely incredible!
Mendocino Stone Ranch is absolutely incredible! The setting features striking stonework and expansive skies with views of the ocean, creating a magical backdrop. The property is designed to provide guests with an artful and unforgettable experience. The ranch has the perfect balance of nature and creative charm, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. The Tower is amazing and such a treat to capture some of the best oceanviews. Perfect for any type of gathering. The owners and team are wonderful to work with - professional, kind, and attentive to every detail. They go above and beyond to make sure guests time there is seamless and stress-free. If you’re lookiing of a breathtaking place with true character and heart, Mendocino Stone Ranch is it. We could not recommend it more highly!
