I'm Krista the face behind the camera at Snap Avenue Photography. I spent almost a decade living in New York City where I turned my lifelong hobby of photography into a career. Note: Currently based in the SF Bay Area but moving to Philadelphia in 2022. Booking both east and west coast weddings for 2022-2023 I am always willing to travel!

I'm a lot less about awkward poses and more about making sure you are comfortable. I strive to capture natural and organic moments. There is nothing better than a genuinely candid photo. After all, we want to capture the real you.

    We hired Krista for our engagement photos and we are so happy with our decision. I am notoriously awkward in photos and she made me feel so comfortable and put all my nerves at ease. My husband and I did not know what location to chose and Krista was able to help us pick the perfect spot which ended being a local park. The park she guided us towards choosing means a lot to us as a couple making these pictures even more special. She definitely has the ability to make what we thought was an unassuming park the perfect backdrop with her artistic eye. She also took beautiful pictures of my ring which I didn’t expect but am so happy I have now. She was extremely professional throughout the shoot. Picking a photographer is such a hard choice because this is what will be hanging on your walls for the rest of your life and we couldn’t be happier that we went with Krista! I do not ever hesitate to recommend her.

    There are not enough words to describe how great Krista is!! She exceeded our expectations and gave us the most amazing engagement and wedding photos - we could not have been happier! Krista is professional but also takes the time to get to know you and what you are looking for, all while being an absolute pleasure to be around. She made us feel comfortable which was so important to us so that we didn't have any awkward or staged photos. We have so many incredible photos that captured our wedding day so perfectly. We highly recommend Krista and Snap Ave photography!!
