Hi, I'm Clay, a wedding photographer based in Portales, New Mexico. I capture relaxed, genuine moments, from ranch and mountain weddings to small elopements. My wife comes to every wedding with me. She helps with dresses, keeps family photos running smoothly, and makes sure nothing gets missed, so you get two sets of hands for one price. I've photographed weddings at Log River Ranch in Chama, Old Town Farm in Albuquerque, Hyde Memorial State Park in Santa Fe, Ridgewood Event Center in Hesperus, Colorado, and Blue Door Venue in Mesilla. I serve Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Durango, Lubbock, Amarillo, Fort Worth and Graham, and travel is included in every quote. Packages start at $1,000. Let's talk about your day!

I shoot every wedding with my wife by my side. While I photograph, she helps fix dresses, wrangle family photos, and keep the day calm, so you get two people looking out for you for one price. My style is natural and relaxed, with real moments over stiff poses. I've photographed weddings from Log River Ranch in Chama to Old Town Farm in Albuquerque and Ridgewood Event Center near Durango, and travel is included in every quote.

    Amazing Photos and Experience

    All I can say is my husband and I were blown away. Not only were our pictures amazing but my family said that he was absolutely amazing at the wedding, so kind and professional! He captured exactly what I wanted, and I am so happy with all of the pictures we got.

You can expect about 50 to 60 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Typically, couples book me about 6-12 months before their wedding date, sometimes 18 months in advance. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 5 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted backup. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
