Founder/Designer

My passion for flowers & nature goes back to my childhood. I spent most of my adult life working in the restaurant industry, doing "the flowers" at restaurants as a fun side project. It wasn't until I began gardening professionaly that I decided to launch my love of flowers into a dream. My dream is most simply, to bring you the natural beauty of Nantucket in the form of floral design.

I'm so very lucky to live in a community with talented flower farmers. Picking-days are magical to me, hand-picking and cutting your flowers with these wonderful growers. We also grow our own flowers right here on island as well as foraging our property. I believe in using seasonal and sustainably sourced blooms as well as designing without the use of floral foam. I love getting to know the couples I work with and having them be a part of the creative process. Each wedding is a bespoke design unique to that couple. I think it's important to incorporate sentimental details into your wedding florals.

    Great to work with!

    Although our time was brief, she was very easy to work with, in and out, nothing but compliments! With so many vendors involved in an event, its important that everyone understands the timeline and caliber needed to accomplish the right look, Eibhlin Fern Florals met the mark. The event we worked with her on had many changes and iterations over the course of the process, and she adapted very well as necessary as everything moved along! Looking forward to working with her again!

Currently we provide a small selection of votives along. We do offer vase rental in various sizes and styles as well.
Eibhlin Fern Florals is located on Nantucket Island. We do offer travel for an additional fee.
For full service weddings, we have a minimum of $2500. However, we do love elopements! Check out our three elopement packages for more info.
Yes, we offer breakdown services along with delivery, set up, and flower transfer from the ceremony to the reception.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day.
Yes! After the contract is signed, we provide one mockup, typically a table centerpiece. We prefer to create this between 30 and 60 days before the wedding to take into account seasonal flowers and time to make adjustments before the final proposal and vendor commitments are due. If you are off island, we can have the mockup via zoom or email photographs.
Yes! Christine has experience working with dried and pressed flowers. Ask about options at your consult.
During your consultation, we will go over all the gorgeous in-season floral offerings available for your wedding date. We love supporting local growers and regional flowers and greenery!
Currently, we offer consults by phone or zoom. Please email and inspiration photos to us before your consult. At the consult, please come prepared with information such as budget, how many tables and what size for centerpieces, style preference, etc. After your consultation, we will draw up a proposal with prices and email it to you.
We are based on Nantucket Island. However, we do offer travel services for an additional fee.
Yes! I believe in transparency with my clients. You should know where your money is going. That's why my proposals are itemized and I am always happy to explain pricing.
