1101 Southern Kitchen has been a dream of mine since high school. My cooking journey began with selling desserts during school holidays then advancing to selling full plates at my mom's jobs. I knew then culinary was my path. Years later, I finally followed my heart and quit my management job to completed culinary arts school. I started 1101 Southern Kitchen a few years ago offering corporate catering throughout the city. In 2019, I took leap and entered the world of wedding catering. Now I get to share my love for food and my artistic culinary creations with the world by creating amazing meals for brides, grooms, & their guest!

Throughout my career, I have worked most food services positions from server to sous chef to general manager to chef soaking up all the hands on experience I could to prepare for one day owning my own hospitality business. I say this to say that what sets me apart is that I am very skilled in all that come with putting on a great event. Exceptional service is my number one goal and I have spend a lot of years making sure I the best knowledge to make your special day OUTSTANDING!

What inspired me about this wedding was Chandlers amazing personality. She was a great bride to work with and her love for Tyler was expressed in every meeting and vice versa! The wedding was absolutely beautiful and the love in the room from family & friends was like no other!
