Historic Waverly Mansion is located in Marriottsville, Maryland. This 1760's era estate is a the perfect setting of an intimate garden wedding and reception! The Mansion and property is owned and operated by Howard County Government's Recreation and Parks Department and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Historic Waverly Mansion is considered an outdoor venue. The property includes beautifully maintained gardens, the historic Mansion, and rustic barn. During our peak rental season, a 60x40ft event tent is included in wedding rentals. Historic Waverly provides the location and property amenities while the Permit Holder provides all vendors, including an approved full-service Caterer and Wedding Coordinator. Historic Waverly Mansion is a Howard County Park. Howard County Recreation and Park guidelines apply to all scheduled events and are different from privately owned venues. My inclination towards photography came from classic street photography and photojournalists from all over the world that told their stories through a lens. Bhagwan Khalsa, was born in Baltimore, MD. He grew up in DC and Virginia until the age of 12, when he left the states to spend four years of his life in India. After graduating from high school abroad, Bhagwan returned to the DC area where he started his music career. Soon after returning to the US, Bhagwan picked up the electric bass and began collaborating with a local heavy metal band. This led to a more studied approach to music at the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles. It was here Bhagwan graduated from heavy-metal, learning the difference between major and minor scales, chords and arpeggios.
