When I was 16 years old I began to teach myself how to play guitar so that I could impress a girl that I had a huge crush on... she wasn't very impressed at the time. However, one day I was playing outside and a woman walking by asked my to sing in her wedding. That day change my entire life. I truly fell in love with music when I performed at that wedding, and have since made it my job to make every wedding day as special, and unforgettable as possible. My name is Meredith. I’m a self-taught photographer, an avid hiker, and a person who loves getting lost in their own city. If I am not photographing, you will either find me in one of two places, a coffee shop or out in nature usually eating my favorite snacks in fish form (Swedish or Gold), or belting anything from musicals to early 2000s country (yes there is a difference) to 90’s hip hop jams.

I want the photos of my wedding that I don’t have –; that capture the moments of affection between our family members; that remind us of the little details and big feelings of that day. I want the photos of my father-in-law walking my wife down the aisle, six months before he unexpectedly passed away. Those photos don’t exist. Instead, I have a handful of blurry, poorly edited images, the half-hearted efforts of an amateur photographer who didn’t yet know what he was doing with a camera. At that time I didn’t know the value of a professional wedding photographer, so I didn’t make the investment and it’s one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made.

I started photography as a second shooter with another local photographer and I fell in love with it. I love every aspect of my job, from meeting new people to editing photos. There truly is nothing better than getting a message from my clients about how happy they are with their images and how much it means to them. I have traveled to Colorado, California, New York, Florida, Alabama-- All over for weddings! I LOVE to travel for my work.
