“Create You Events was the reason why our dream wedding became a reality!! My husband and I consider ourselves to be good planners, and like other couples, we thought we could make do without a wedding planner. We were only looking for a day-of coordinator when we reached out to Create You Events. We interviewed Vicky and realized the value she could provide us throughout the planning process. We quickly changed our stance and hired her as both our day-of coordinator and wedding planner. This was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The amount of time and mental energy saved was beyond worth it. Vicky and her team's guidance kept us on schedule and organized during our nine-month timeline. Vicky was able to handle all obstacles in stride. No challenge was ever too big for her, and that calmed many of our nerves. What sets Vicky and her team apart is their ability to complement the areas that my husband and I lacked. We were transparent with those aspects which we weren't as prepared for and our budget constraints, and they would always found solutions or presented us with alternatives that met our needs. There were countless times when Vicky would save the day by bringing up things that we wouldn't even consider! She was great with vendor management and helped identify vendors that fit our criteria. In addition to Create You Events' planning and coordination service, we also opted for their decor services. What was the most dreaded part of planning for us was no longer a challenge. Trust me when I say they made all of our worries go away when it came to decor and signage. We were able to provide our vision and they delivered on every little detail. The arrangements and signage fit the elegance of our theme and venue perfectly. It was a huge benefit having a team that already understood our vision and was attentive to every request. Where do I begin for the day-of coordination? Vicky and her team were the calming force to our chaotic day. We wanted to maximize our day, so we planned our timeline down to the minute. From their planning, they set up our day so that we didn't have to make any major decisions. All we had to do was follow the timeline they put together for us. This allowed us to enjoy our day and appreciate the little moments we would have otherwise missed. Even when things that were out of our control went array, Vicky and her team didn't even flinch from the pressure and were quick to find a resolution, having no impact on our day. Simply put, we couldn't have had a perfect day without the involvement from Create You Events. The planning, decor, and coordination was stress free for us and allowed us to allocate our time to other areas that required more of our individual attention. “This is a way too late review for a spectacular wedding planner and event designer who brought to life the wedding of my dreams in June 2022! Lauren and her team truly provide a 5-star experience in every way and more. Before I met Lauren, I had a vision for my wedding, but really wasn't sure how to bring it to fruition. I was walking through the "steps" recommended in different timeline sheets, which in itself is very tiring, and starting very big picture. But as anyone who has planned a wedding knows, the details start to become very, very overwhelming - especially when there's a specific look and feel you want for your wedding. Where do you invest your time and money? That's where Lauren was a lifesaver. Some key moments in our work together included: aligning us via several conversations and an inspiration deck (really important for making sure you're on the same page), meeting me at a rental facility to walk through design elements together, coordinating with family members to make sure she got a comprehensive picture of what really mattered to me (bless my partner, he couldn't care less), and "secretly" working with family members to make the vision "bigger and better" and surprise me. Lauren also has an IMPECCABLE eye for how to bring all the million details together. She hand-selected and/or advised on every detail, from utensil colors to linens to stamp types to wax seals - all the tiny details that create a full "experience" for you and your guests, but by the end, you don't have energy to pick yourself! Moreover, Lauren is incredibly professional, warm, direct, patient, and supportive - all traits you need in a planner and designer. She will also tell you what she thinks, which is essential, particularly in the home stretch! By the end, Lauren was responsible for creating the wedding of my dreams. I didn’t want to spend the money on a full wedding planner so going this route was absolutely perfect. They were with me every step of the way. I especially liked the SOS calls they give because I needed them to assist with a vendor I was having an issue with. I knew I was going to need help with logistics and stuff on the actual day of my wedding because I wouldn’t have time to do so, so I added the coordination add on to my package. So I got my wedding planned with major help from an actual certified planner and coordination for my wedding day for less than others are charging for just coordination. Just go for it. You will not be disappointed at all! They really went above and beyond and did more for me than what they had outlined they would do. I got more than my money worth.”

“We used Sam Hill Entertainment to book the band “The Dickens”. This is the part of our wedding everyone is still talking about. They played such a variety that every age was able to enjoy. Not a single person was sitting at the tables while the Dickens were on the stage. They were very interactive with the crowd and even let the groom (a guitar player) get up there and jam out with them. This was such a fun addition to the wedding and we loved every minute of it!”

“Nicole and Jose of Bokeh Lane Photography are simply wonderful! So energetic and creative! They shot our engagement session and are slated to shoot our wedding whenever COVID allows for that. We wanted a photographer that has a great eye for candid shots and heard about these two from a friend who had their engagement and wedding shot by them. My friend’s pictures were beautiful, so I reached out to Nicole and Jose. They helped us with every step of the process, even with picking out outfits before the shoot. They’re kind and professional and just so easy to work with. I am not used to being in front of the camera, whereas my fiance is a natural in front of the camera. I told them that up front and they made sure to make me feel comfortable while just letting my fiance be himself, and the pictures came out so great!
