My name is Sarah Hervieux and I love, love. No but really, Its probably one of my favorite things. I am wedding and portrait photographer based in Greenville SC. I always enjoyed capturing things through my camera ever since I was in high school. My photography is for the adventurers. For the cuddly and playful, and also for the reserved and quiet. You’ll never be forced into a pose that feels unfamiliar or uncomfortable, but you might sweat from running in a field, or you might drink some tequila on top of a mountain during sunset… I photograph YOUR love, not my “ideal” or “pinterest worthy” images.

The only thing better than making memories, is reliving them. I love photography for so many reasons but the opportunity to freeze a moment in time and cherish that memory forever is reason number one. One reason I love wedding photography specifically is how it incorporates all my photographic passions into one day! Landscapes, street photography, documentary, portrait, macro...I could keep going. You can usually find me at home, cleaning up the 95th mess of the day, homeschooling my oldest, editing with a cup of coffee and Gilmore Girls, and always wishing it was warm enough to get my crazy kids outside. I have loved photographing things since I was about 5 years old (Power Rangers paper dolls were my subjects), but I never realized it could be a job until I was married, finished with a bachelor's degree in Math, a Masters degree in secondary education and was a full-time high school teacher.

Since a very young age I have found happiness in creative activities, and photography is no exception. During high school, I studied Art and Design and learned about composition and color. A friend asked me to join her in an after-school photography class, so I grabbed an old film SLR and learned the process of taking and developing my own photographs using a darkroom. Photography quickly became my favorite medium.
