We toured about 6 other venues around DFW before we visited the Pearl. My husband visited the Pearl at their open house in January 2022 while I was on a work trip and he knew this place was something special. We made an appointment with Connie and Barry for a few days later to go together and as we walked through the venue, we couldn't imagine any place else we wanted our wedding. Barry gave us the best venue tour we had been on and asked us questions about how we wanted our wedding to look to better help us see how our day would be. Throughout the planning process, I probably emailed Connie a dozen times and she was always so quick and happy to help with any suggestions or questions I had. They do a great job of thinking of all the details you need. On our wedding day on March 18, 2023, we couldn't have had a more magical and perfect day. All of our friends and family thought the venue and the wedding were amazing. I can't recommend the Pearl enough and highly encourage you to attend their open house if able or if not then book a tour as soon as you read the review.

Hera's Haven is such a beautiful venue with a wonderful staff and gorgeous spaces to hold your events. As a wedding planner, I can tell you that the wedding day is always stressful. No matter how organized you are, how big of a team you have, how supportive the people around you are, something can always go wrong. When this happens it's difficult to keep from panicking, but Lauren swooped in and helped me level everything out, knocking my stress level in half. She was so helpful, supportive, and just an all-around delight. I've recommended this wonderful venue to all my brides, my friends, my family, and even strangers in wedding Facebook groups. Bonus for any Greek mythology buffs - The chandeliers are shaped like pomegranates and for our Greek Mythology themed wedding they were PERFECT.

Rachel and Pepi did a phenomenal job as wedding coordinators. They helped us out through the process of booking with them and making sure we got the wedding we wanted within our budget. The moment my now husband and I walked into the venue, we knew that this is where we wanted to have our wedding. The inside rooms are beautiful and spacious. The outside garden and gazebo is like something out of a fairytale. The food was incredible the night of my wedding and the staff brought the plates to us even though we had a buffet. I thought that was a nice touch especially since we were on our feet all day. The venue is very well maintained as well.

I got married here April 13th 2024! What an amazing and beautiful venue. I truly couldn't have asked for better! Everyone at the venue was super accommodating and I came multiple times to visit and plan my floor plan. At an extra cost I also rented the facility the day before my wedding for set up and rehearsal. I really appreciated the DIY aspect of everything to truly make it my own. The wedding day was absolutely beautiful and perfect. I will forever be grateful for this venue and the people there. Thank you guys over and over!!!!

This place was so pretty and very easy to work with! Only thing was they have the ac set to a specific temp and it was a bit too hot the day of the wedding inside the dressing rooms and we had to wait until 3 pm for our POC person to arrive. The venue is not at fault as it was 90F in FEBRUARY. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!! Best wedding ever!

We had our wedding here June 24th, 2023. The place is so beautiful and it was everything we wanted! The staff were always genuinely kind and made sure we had everything we needed to make our wedding day perfect! Shots out to Alexis and Aiza because we spoke with them the most and they were just amazing! I would give the venue a 10 and recommend it to others. We found Red Door Ranch last year in their early stages of getting built. We has a meeting with Tracy and walked into the venue, a lot of work still had to be done. But we quickly fell in love with the place. Tracy and her husband are some amazing people. Easy to communicate with and very hands on. We have only positive things to say about the Pines of Alvarado. There was ample parking. With the gazebo, two pergolas and multiple blooming plants, the approach to the building was very attractive. It was 99 degrees when we arrived at the venue, but the room was cool and comfortable. The catering kitchen worked well (our caterer loved it) and included a freezer, which was really nice since we served ice cream for our groom's treat. The kitchen also worked very well as our bar, with a convenient place to put a large frozen margarita machine. We loved having the ability to provide our own alcohol and appreciated the Pines providing the (required) security officers. We did put one row of pipe and drape up so bar goers didn't see the catering work going on behind the drape. The room was large enough to seat 130 guests for a dinner buffet - with adequate space to move about. There was also room for multiple "specialty" tables and a dance floor. There are giant barn doors that were perfect for entrance of the wedding party, as well as for the sparkler send off. A large window at the far end of the building let in ample natural lighting. The building was spotless every time we were there and they had ample tables, chairs, and cloths to meet our needs. The building is rustic in design, but became really pretty with minimal decorations - especially once the strings lights were turned on. Kylie was great to work with. She was flexible, responsive and attentive. Her knowledge and suggestions (when solicited) were invaluable. We are so glad we found the Pines of Alvarado. It was definitely worth the short drive from the metroplex.

The Heard Craig Art Center & Museum has private parking in downtown McKinney with a private garden, gazebo, and Carriage House. The private garden & Carriage House venue space is available to rent and our main house Museum offers group tours, luncheons, bridal tea, baby showers, and more! When you book your tour or event with us you are supporting art, history, preservation, the community, and Kathryn Heard-Craigs legacy.

They were able to offer everything we needed! It was relaxing, and lovely. They were incredibly reasonable, and most of the options were a la carte, so we were able to keep our costs lower by picking and choosing only what we needed.

We were wanting to do more of a “party” than a traditional wedding, and McKinney Flour Mill was one of the few vendors to really understand our vision and work with us on it. They were always very responsive and answered all my questions, and they let us come in on multiple weekends to tour the venue and develop our layout. I also loved that they had a decor room add on option and they had tons of awesome decorations we could use. Everything was going perfectly until the day of. When we got to the venue the day of the wedding, there were ceremony chairs lined up instead of the tables that we needed set up as we were not doing a traditional ceremony (so there must have been some miscommunication within their team on this). However, it wasn’t a huge deal and our wedding party was able to quickly get the room re-organized. The wedding itself was great and went off without a hitch! But then when we were cleaning up afterwards, the owner seemed pretty annoyed and short with us. We brought in some of our own decorations as well as used some of theirs and we had discussed previously that we would give them our decorations we had brought in to use as part of their decor room for future weddings. When we were actually cleaning up, the owner wanted us to take everything of ours and leave nothing in the decor room so we ended up just throwing all of our decorations out. Overall, they were great to work with and we loved the venue, but the ending was just very weird….

We loved having our wedding at Willow Creek Wedding & Event Venue! The venue itself is gorgeous with beautiful gardens that made for a dreamy backdrop. The staff were pretty good to work with in the planning process - they responded very quickly to any questions we had and helped keep us on track with timelines for decisions. On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly thanks to their coordination. The space is large enough to accommodate all our guests comfortably. Willow Creek delivers excellent value with all the key elements for an stress-free and fun wedding. We highly recommend them for their communication, the quality of service, and beautiful venue.

Coming from a background of Conference Management and Logistics, the transition into wedding and event planning was smooth and quite fun. After getting my Bachelor’s in Business Management, I was determined to create a career as a wedding planner once I moved to Texas, that would keep me inspired and allow me to help others! Nimbus Events was the wedding planning team that made our special day truly unforgettable. From the start, their communication style was straight-forward, organized, and creative - exactly what we needed to navigate the immense amount of planning and decisions. Bianca, our lead planner, was truly professional and incredibly thorough, which was necessary to guide our GIANT wedding party of 13 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen, as well as our 300 guests, through a downpour that could have easily been a disaster. After the inevitable but still emotional acceptance of our third-line rain plan, Bianca worked tirelessly to ensure all of our (my) dreams came true. Only a planner of Bianca's quality could ensure that I still got to live out my life-long dream of riding my horse to the ceremony and enjoy an outside bar with home-made mocktails, despite the legit Texas thunderstorm. Believe me, you want a woman like Bianca in charge of the most expensive and important party of your life, especially if you're having an outdoor ceremony. The quality of Nimbus Events' work was of incredible value - they truly went above and beyond to make our big day intimate, enjoyable, and truly easy. Every single one of my married friends agreed that their biggest mistake was not hiring a good wedding planner. I decided not to learn that lesson myself and you can save yourself that pain too. I would highly recommend Bianca and the Nimbus team to any couple looking for a down-to-earth, high-quality (and life-saving) wedding planning experience.

The Meadows at Peninsula Ranch was an incredible venue for our wedding. From the beginning, their communication was seamless, consistent, and very open, which made the planning process a breeze. On the day of, their team worked quietly in the background to ensure everything was perfectly set up - I hardly even noticed them, but they made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire event. The quality of their work and the value they provided was amazing. The venue itself has a cozy, country vibe with beautiful natural surroundings that made for a wonderful atmosphere. I was so impressed by The Meadows at Peninsula Ranch that I'll definitely be renting out the space again soon for another event!
