5.0

Nevis, MN
  • Up to 299 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $6,000

Our vision for FireFly began 13 years ago and we searched all around our hometown area for a barn to fit our vision. This turned out to be IT: a beautiful dairy barn built in the 1940's! We've kept its rustic and authentic vibe alive and added a lot of flair. It's a happy place to be!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Multiple event spaces
  • Space for a large guest list
  • Flexible event spaces

Venue considerations

  • No built-in audiovisual options
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • No in-house catering options
We were married at the FireFly Event Barn October 2022. When we were looking at our options and visited the barn, I was absolutely blown away! Not only by the beauty of the barn but how we felt like we had known Lindsey forever. She made us feel like we were family and we knew this was the place! Leading up to the event she was so easy to work with, always responding right away, letting vendors come and see the venue and ask questions before our big day, always so positive and uplifting making us so much more excited for our day to come. During set up she took the time to get to know who was who and helped us any way we needed! On the day she helped us make sure everything went smoothly and flawless! We still get compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how Lindsey and her staff made everyone feel so welcome!

As a former camper and staff members, CL/CLH was a very nostalgic and meaningful place for my gusband and me to host our wedding. Not only did we meet at camp, we also got engaged here three years later! We hosted a welcome party at bass beach the night before and had the reception at the main lodge on CLH grounds. Camp staff was extremely accommodating during our days of setup and provided us with help wherever needed. It was a joy to watch all of our guests celebrate at the OB deck, wraparound lodge deck, playing yard games, and getting to experience a little bit of that camp magic. I even had a guest tell me this was the first time they felt like they had to send a thank you card for being invited to a wedding. We still hear raves from our guests about their “Minnesota Weekend.” There is truly no place like CL/CLH to bring all of your family and friends together. This is a venue I know I will keep returning to throughout life, and am so grateful for the experience I had here during my wedding weekend.

Our guests also appreciated having everything be at one venue. We had a fall wedding and the ceremony site was breathtaking. Plenty of space for the bridal crew and great acoustics for the pastor and singers. The outdoor patio space is covered with an outdoor bar and we had a social hour snacks available for guests. They aways have yard games available to keep guests entertained. The reception area is so grand and plenty of space for dinner and dancing. Jaimee and Tracy made sure everything was decorated the way we wanted and it felt truly magical in the reception area. The entire staff made our whole wedding party and guest list feel right at home. They also have a bus to rent out to get guests back to the local hotels safe and sound. Our wedding experience was so seamless, I highly recommend the Bluebelle for all your event planning needs. You will be treated like family. And the venue itself is stunning.
