Texas Rock House is a labor of love. My grandparents built the house and barns in the 1940's as a working farm for their family. My mother was the youngest of seven children that grew up here. I grew up almost across the street with my mom (Joyce), daddy (Buddy), and brother (Larry). Larry and I spent almost every Friday night here - listening to his records on Grandma's old record player or sitting on the back porch swing counting the number of cars on the trains as they passed by. Whether you are looking for a memorable barn wedding venue for your special day, a unique event space for your corporate meeting, or a beautiful place to celebrate one of life's special moments, the Texas Rock House is the place to be! Host your next gathering in style at our stunning event space. Conveniently located off Interstate 10 between Houston and Austin. This property was previously owned by the late Charlie Thomas former owner of the Houston Rockets and was frequented by celebrities and dignitaries, but now it's available for your dream wedding. The dance hall is fashioned after the famous Gruene Hall. Are dance hall is complete with a bar and stage. Attached is a silo with a grill and we are ready to bread your dream menu. We have a Bridal suite where you and your bridesmaids can get ready for your big day also a Grooms Casino suite for the guys. Say "I do" under our Heritage oak tree! What better way to say your "I do" then under our 350 year old oak tree that is 120 feet wide. At the heart of the tree is a stage for the couple to say there "I do".
