“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Anna and her process! She truly helped make my wedding into the perfect day, and her photos prove it was just as incredible as we remember.
I’m someone who is normally camera shy unless I’m taking the photo, so the thought of having photos taken of me throughout the entirety of my wedding day made me anxious to say the least. From the beginning, though, Anna made sure to understand the vision I was going for, what shots were important to me versus what wasn’t, we even had the unique challenge of not doing a send off so I was concerned about not having direction there. Whether it was the shared Pinterest board, or random emails from me, she took all the input and came prepared to our pre-wedding meeting with ideas and a game plan. She took the time to learn WHY I don’t like photos taken of me, and made note of everything I need to feel comfortable in front of the lens.
The day of, she was on her A-game with poses, locations, but best of all was that she really let us do our thing. We are not a very serious couple, and I was worried about having too much direction and not being able to relax. But if our photos prove anything, it’s that we were at ease throughout the day, didn’t feel rushed or over-directed, and we really got a chance to show our love for each other and our family.
I keep saying this to people, but I literally could not be happier with how everything turned out. Our photos are an absolute dream and I shove them in the face of anyone willing to look at them. I believe the key to a good photo is being able to relive the moment when you look at it. Does it capture the emotions you were feeling? The warmth of the sun? The breeze? The hurt of your belly laugh? All of our photos put us right back there on our wedding day. And I hope that conveys just how happy we are with everything.
