At the age of four, he started playing the fiddle and competing in contests around the state of Texas. Chris went on to learn the saxophone in high school which led him to a full scholarship from Abilene Christian University. Over the years, Chris has taught himself to play the mandolin, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, piano, and harmonia. After years of performing in clubs and dance halls, Chris was introduced to corporate events and weddings. He has traveled around the United States performing for well-known corporations, making him an established artist in the event industry.

We met at a smoothie and film party in college, during which, I (Matt) let out my inner Shakespeare and screamed at Rachel from a balcony. We were married in Texas Hill country amidst close friends. Rachel forgot she needed a bouquet, but a close friend came to the rescue. We made promises to each other and then took time to pray to make promises to God about our marriage. We did without much of the traditional aspects of a wedding: no dancing, no toasts, no exchanged rings, no wedding party…you get the idea…but we did spend 3 hours with their wedding videographers.
