What began as a venture for pretty sentiments for family and friends, grew into what is now The Rising Dough bakery! It brings me so much joy that I get to play even a small role in so many special occasions! Custom cookies are very much a labor of love to me. I pour my heart and soul into the creation of these edible pieces of art—always with my clients’ vision in mind!

Hey Y’all! My name is Rachel Frey, I am the owner of Dough Darling. I started my business in March of 2022 based in Central Florida. I have always had a passion for cooking and baking. I was always the “designated family chef” and hosted all of our gatherings. I decided to share my passion for baking with my community. My husband and I moved to Middle Tennessee in 2023, where I reopened and have been overwhelmed with love and support. I craft every dessert with love.
