You'll most likely catch me in a coffee shop, binge-watching Downton Abbey, or driving our VW bus Winnie around with my boys. As a husband and wife team we know first-hand how overwhelming the wedding process can be. Our studio's philosophy is simple: we believe that no two couples are alike, and as such, our photography should reflect and celebrate each couple's unique love and journey to the alter.

I'm Jada! I'm the photographer and owner of Meraki + Moss Photography, LLC. I started photographing couples back in 2016 after a passion for photography began. Over the years I've photographed many families, many weddings, and so much more. I enjoy the aspect of capturing memories that families can look back at forever.

I wouldn’t trade my job for anything. It’s a huge honor and privilege to photograph passionate celebrations between families and friends. My clients let me into their personal space and trust me to document with honesty and grace their deepest emotions: their love, their tears, their laughs, and their fears. For this I am grateful beyond words. While weddings are 90 percent of my work, they are not all of my work — and honestly, I think that’s a good thing. Shooting families & children keeps me inspired and allows me to see the world differently, which plays into how I document events

I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.

I love this job of mine. When you book me, you can be assured that I will operate before, during & after the wedding with your best interests at heart. My #1 goal is always to create a space that allows you (and your loved ones) to be your best, most comfortable selves & to depict your wedding day through your final photo gallery in the most authentic way as you remember it unfolding.
