During your 3-day rental, you may celebrate slowly; host your rehearsal dinner on-site for no extra charge, enjoy your wedding and reception the next day, and leave the cleaning for the final day. Our spacious venue seats over 300 guests, in addition, our well-groomed lawns are for the perfect setting for the outdoor ceremony you desire. We are nestled within acres of rolling open countryside. The Alta House Event Center is a hidden gem conveniently located off I-80 and 37 minutes East of Des Moines. Our weekend rental is three days long and includes access to the space from Friday 1PM-Sunday 1PM.
