photography is my world I have been in photography for 23 years and I try to learn more every day, photography is an art with infinite inspiration. I love photographing weddings! What makes me different from other photographers, for me every wedding is a challenge I try to be more creative and do something different. every wedding is a chapter.

Several years ago to prepare for my own wedding I decided that I would do my own flowers. The end result was lovely and even now I have my own bouquet decorating my home where I can see it all the time. That decision, to create beautiful arrangements with my own hands was the beginning.

We are a team of 3. There is me, Leslie the lead photographer. Shelby is the 2nd photographer. Jake is strictly the videographer. We are strictly focused on you. When you hire us for your photography needs you are getting an entire hype team for you. Our goal is to make you feel absolutely gorgeous, and safe. When doing so we have a lot of fun creating the moments you will remember forever.

We love to capture and tell a story of your day! My partner and I combined have over 18 years of videography and editing experience. We are well trained and passionate for creating beautiful stories of one of the GREATEST moments of your life.

I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.

Proud Mama of 3 and a beauty coach. My love for animals and all things outdoors stems from my upbringing on a farm outside of Ankeny. I graduated from North Polk High School and went on to pursue a degree in Biotechnology. However, my love for hair and all things beauty wound me up at Iowa School of Beauty in 2002! I have had the opportunity to work at two amazing salons over my career. Through them I realized I can have it all by balancing time with family, work, and travel.

My team and I have experience with various clients. We thrive off of capturing unique photo and video content for our partners that share their story.
