Since a very young age I have found happiness in creative activities, and photography is no exception. During high school, I studied Art and Design and learned about composition and color. A friend asked me to join her in an after-school photography class, so I grabbed an old film SLR and learned the process of taking and developing my own photographs using a darkroom. Photography quickly became my favorite medium.

I and my wife are the owners of Different Perspectives. A premiere & full time photography and video production studio offering a range of services including photography, videography and postproduction.

Thomas and Ginger's love story blossomed in 2007, leading to a picturesque June wedding in 2011. Combining over 15 years of photography experience, the Grimes Photography team offers couples an exceptional journey and unforgettable photos. Settled in Greenville, North Carolina, Thomas and Ginger cherish their family life with Kennedy, Houston, and Shepard, alongside their cherished dogs Lilly and Walt. Octavio joined the team in 2022, infusing his passion and nearly a decade of expertise into every project, while relishing precious moments with his wife and two children.

I have loved photography ever since you used to have to take a whole digital camera with you when you'd go to hang out with friends and upload 100 pictures to Facebook (Anyone over 30 knows what I'm talking about).
