“Emily is absolutely amazing! I promise you cannot go wrong by choosing her and her team to plan or help plan your wedding day. I was referred to Emily by a family member who had worked with her before and I couldn’t be happier that we chose to. We hired Emily as a “day of coordinator” which she explained is more like month of, but regardless, definitely not a whole planner (for what we hired her for). However, I was texting and calling Emily for almost 2 years leading up to my wedding and she never gave me an issue. She was so prompt at responding which led me to have a ton of trust in her as a professional with my wedding in her hands. She is so polite and understanding. She is so talented and professional. I am a very in control type of person and knew how I wanted things to be, and I really didn’t have to tell Emily much. When I arrived on site to the venue, she had things set up almost exactly how I imagined them being. She made sure the day ran as smoothly as possible and it sure did! If anything went wrong, I wasn’t aware of it because she handled pretty much everything. Coming toward the end of the night, Emily came to me and told me she cleaned up all of the tables, put all of the signage and decor all together, and cleaned up our bridal suite, therefore there wasn’t much, if anything at all for us to clean up. I was shocked because I didn’t expect her to do that. She really goes above and beyond for her clients. Her talent, advice, opinions, friendliness, professionalism, everything is just amazing. “Where to begin? I imagine if you are reading this section you are looking to see how the experience other couples had with JTR Media was and if you should consider hiring them. Well here is the short answer from one couple that had the pleasure of getting to work with Josh and Taylor for our wedding… absolutely yes! Josh and Taylor did the photography and videography for our March 2023 Disney Wedding. From the initial discussions of planning to the day of execution, JTR were very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. We originally were planning to work with Disney but due to the lack of knowledge of which photographer you could get until a couple of weeks out, we elected to go with a more sure thing and personal touch. We had a bunch of things Disney was covering and looking back at all the wedding choices, we are so glad we got JTR to cover our wedding. What separates them? Well I can’t speak for every couple’s experience but from Day 1 they made it about us. They listened to what images we absolutely needed, provided suggestions for other locations or experiences we could do, and engaged with us through the Disney planning process to make sure everything Day of was out of the bride and groom’s hands and under control. They had a great questionnaire that was thorough and helped establish a foundation for the picture catalog. Getting the images back, well that’s just as great as working with them. Wow! We constantly get compliments on how the images capture the spirit of the moment. You see such amazing emotions from all of our wedding guests at different stages of the wedding! The turn around time was great and accessing the images and video is a breeze. So if you made it to the end of this review my hats off to you but I wanted to elaborate on the experience because it is an anxious decision about selecting wedding vendors. With JTR you can count on a professional product with the personal experience. We will forever be grateful to Josh and Taylor and can’t recommend them enough!”

TLIC was started in 2017 when owner Chris Hiltz captured his first wedding on video. Within the first three weeks of posting the film, three couples reached out and booked Chris to capture their wedding. At that point, he was hooked! After capturing 22 weddings in his first year, he realized the importance of the relationship between photographer and videographer. He reached out to his top photographers from the first year and developed partnerships. Those partnerships have blossomed into TLIC now having 9 full-time and 11 part-time team members that all work together training and developing their skills and wedding day approach together.

“My first experience with TLIC was capturing my brother and sister-in-law's beautiful wedding. My fiancé and I knew the next day that we needed them to capture our beautiful day. Chris and his team were so helpful through every aspect of the planning process all the way through to the end of the night singing Country Roads in the middle of all our favorite people on the dance floor. Looking back on that day, I think what I enjoyed most of all was that I barely new our vendor team was there in the best way possible. Our whole day from beginning to end felt like giant celebration of our love. What it did not feel like was having to pose in front of a camera all day. When we were taking the some of the more posed shots, they made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Chris and his team blended in beautifully to the background while simultaneously capturing the most epic shots. Seeing our teaser trailer mere days after our wedding brought back all those sweeping feelings we felt that day, so much so that we replayed that video well into the night. Each re-watch uncovered some tiny moment we missed on the previous watch, and it was amazing to be able to rediscover the day every time. Even better, though, are Melissa & Steve themselves.
