Built in the 1900s, our Grand Rapids Ballroom is a true statement of Italian Renaissance architectural style; its luxurious details—such as walnut paneling, soaring vaulted ceilings, marble columns, a sweeping grand staircase, and wrought iron railings— have been meticulously cared for throughout the last century. With elevator access to the Ballroom’s Mezzanine, guests can overlook the party below and members of the wedding party can utilize the Ballroom Suite which offers a private restroom, full-length mirrors, and a spacious make-up counter. The Ballroom at CityFlatsHotel in Grand Rapids can accommodate up to 200 individuals. For a more intimate wedding celebration, our Events Room offers a charming gathering space outfitted with its own bar and private bathrooms. The Events Room accommodates up to 150 seated guests! The Loft at Luna is an elegant, yet rustic wedding and special event venue. Brick and wood tones create a warm familiar atmosphere for your guests, while the high ceiling and pillars give a touch of splendor. All wedding rentals include access to the space from 10 AM until 12 AM, a variety of hand-built tables, cocktail tables, and black Chiavari chairs that can be set up by staff however you desire, seating up to 160 of your closest friends and family.

St. Cecilia Music Center is a historic wedding venue situated in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, MI. When booking this facility for your big day, there are numerous event spaces to help bring your dream wedding to life. The Dexter Ballroom features elegant hardwood floors, west-facing windows, two Steinway grand pianos and a large kitchen. The ballroom can accommodate 250 standing guests or 184 for a plated dinner. There is also the Wege Recital Hall. It has enough space for 100 standing reception or 48 for a plated dinner. The room also boasts two grand pianos, a small kitchenette, and a fireplace. More-private gatherings may be held in the Mika Music Library, which provides couples and their loved ones with a warm, inviting atmosphere. It has walls with oak paneling, parquet floors, a piano, a kitchen, and a fireplace, and it can seat up to 48 guests. In addition, couples may avail of these and the venue’s other luxurious event spaces for their wedding ceremonies.

The only private event space offered at Founders, The Centennial Room features a fully-staffed bar with eight taps (including one nitro tap), and can accommodate groups up to 65 seated (with additional seating for 50 on the deck.) Located on the second story of our facility, the room has a small lounge area with comfortable leather chairs and two walls of windows - east and south-facing - looking out over the city of Grand Rapids. Our wraparound porch connects to the event space via two glass-garage doors. The room is outfitted with three large flat-screen televisions and a retractable projector screen for PowerPoint or video presentations. A podium with a microphone can be available for any speeches or group announcements. The Centennial Room can be booked in 3-hour minimum blocks. Additional time can be added at a price per-hour charge if available.

Our modern side-by-side venue allows us to create dedicated spaces for each portion of your event. This means you can enjoy a private cocktail lounge prior to taking your seats for dinner or avoid having to flip the room to have ceremony and reception in the same venue. For even smaller events including rehearsal dinners and showers, you can just rent Foyer East or Foyer West for a budget experience that’s even more dialed in to your needs.
