How do I get my 0% fee?First, you’ll need to add qualifying gifts to your registry, along with some cash funds. Next publish your registry and share it with your guests. After your guests buy $100 in qualifying gifts off your registry, you’ll be able to transfer any cash gifts to your bank account with zero fee.
What if I forget about my offer and try to transfer my funds before I receive $100 in gifts?We’ll alert you if you attempt to transfer funds before you receive $100 in qualifying gifts. But if you bypass the warning and transfer the funds, we unfortunately cannot refund the fee you pay.
Do all gifts on my registry count toward the $100 threshold?Not entirely. What counts: Guests’ purchases of any physical gifts or experiences you added to your Zola registry from the Zola store. What does not count: Guests’ contributions to cash or honeymoon funds, purchases of Zola gift cards and gifts added from a third-party store.
Do my guests need to purchase gifts by a certain date?No, your guests don’t need to purchase the qualifying gifts by a certain date. However, you’ll need to wait to transfer any cash gifts to your bank until you’ve reached the $100 threshold in qualifying gifts. If you do not wait until you’ve reached the $100 threshold, you’ll be charged a 2.5% fee on the amount you transfer to your bank account.
Once I receive $100 in gifts, will my cash fee automatically go to 0%?Yes. Once you receive $100 in qualifying gifts, no action is needed on your part to activate your 0% fee. All cash gifts that you transfer to your bank account will automatically have zero fees applied.
I thought my fee was 0%... but it's still showing up at 2.5%? What's the deal?You may not have met the $100 gift threshold yet. In order to qualify for the 0% fee, you need to receive at least $100 in qualifying gifts from your Zola registry. Contributions to cash funds or honeymoon funds, Zola gift card purchases, and gifts imported from third-party sources do not qualify. Gifts also must be purchased by your guests, not you.
I thought my fee was 0%, but my guest was charged 2.5%. What happened?Visit this page in your account settings and make sure the button next to “You” is selected. This button must be selected in order to qualify for your 0% fee. If the button next to “Guests” is selected, we unfortunately cannot waive the 2.5% fee or reimburse your guests later for any fees they paid.
My friend has a 0% fee and I don't. Why?We extended this special offer to couples who signed up for Zola Registry between 11/05/2018 and 11/18/2018, which must’ve included your friend. To be eligible for the cash fund zero-fee offer, a couple must (1) sign up for Zola registry between 12:00AM EST 11/05/2018 - 11:59PM EST 11/18/2018 or been invited to join the offer via email by Zola and (2) receive at least $100.00 in qualifying gifts from the Zola store.
Terms & ConditionsCash fund fee will be waived only once you receive at least $100.00 in qualifying Zola gifts. A qualifying Zola gift is a product or experience added from the Zola store. Cash funds, honeymoon funds, Zola gift cards and gifts imported from third-party sources (via “Add Anything” tool, barcode scanner, or import by Zola team) do not count towards the $100.00 threshold. Gifts must be purchased from your Zola registry by a guest (someone other than you and your partner), to count towards $100.00 threshold. User account settings must be set so that the user absorbs the cash fund fee, not the guest. If you choose to transfer cash gifts before you meet the $100.00 gift threshold you will have to pay the 2.5% fee. If user or guests pay a cash fund fee it is non-refundable. Zola reserves the right to modify or discontinue this program at any time. Void where prohibited by law.
