Travel Note

Airbnb

Booking an Airbnb in Miami is a great option if you are coming with a big group or even a few people, and definitely will save you some money. There are tons of Airbnb and it all depends on where you want to stay. Our recommendation is to book in Coconut Grove/Coral Gables or Homestead. You can search online. There are also really good smartphone applications that you can use. If you decide to go with this option, definitely contact us and we can help you.

Flight

Miami International Airport or Fort Laudedarle Airport

Both airports have metro stations that can easily take you to Coral Gables/Coconut Grove, Brickell, and the South Miami area, but not to Homestead city. Take the orange line to go South.

Travel Note

Transportation

If you are staying around Coral Gables/Coconut Grove, free trolleys are available. There are also mini-buses called “freebee”. To use them, you only have to download the app to your phone. If you are around the Brickell/Downtown area, free transportation through Metromover is available. Unfortunately, there are no free services in Homestead. Rental cars, Uber and Lyft are good options.
