A rainy proposal

02/10/2019

We were celebrating our second anniversary in Nashville, and Jeff decided to spend the last day of our trip going for a hike at the famous Radnor Lake, a beautiful State Park. It was super cloudy and we were pretty sure that it would rain, but Jeff insisted that we still go on the hike. Despite the worrisome weather, we were able to have a great time and enjoy the scenery. Jeff led me to the edge of the lake where there was a bench to take in the view. We started talking about past experiences and expectations for the future before I knew it, Jeff was kneeling with an open box with a ring in it. He asked me to marry him, and it was the easiest question I've ever had to answer... I said YES with so many tears in my eyes and out of nowhere, it started to rain! We wondered if it was a good sign or a bad one, and we realized every orchid needs water to flower!
