FAQs

Question

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

We decided to have something different and fun for our wedding dinner. “Rodizio Grill”, a Brazilian inspired rotisserie, will be serving 4 types of meat along with glazed cinnamon pineapple and a selection of side dishes. Brazilian gauchos will bring the food to your table. There will be cocktails with a variety of appetizers. If you have any type of special dietary needs (vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free or any allergy), please let us know so that we have the caterers make something special for you! When you respond to the RSVP please add your special request as well, but it would help to email or contact us as well.

Question

Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

We love you kids! But in order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of fun and a chance for you to fully enjoy yourself, we have chosen our wedding day to be an adult-only occasion. We hope that this is not too much of an inconvenience and that you will still be able to share our big day and enjoy an evening off!

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail-casual attire. Think of being at a nice, Caribbean resort and going for a fancy steak dinner. We want you to feel comfortable and be able to dance around. The whole venue is a garden and both the ceremony and the reception will be in outdoor areas. It may be a little cold later in the evening, so bring a jacket or sweater with you just in case!

Question

Can I bring someone to the wedding?

Answer

If your invitation says "and guest" that means you can. If it not, please refrain from bringing guests as space is limited.

Question

Is there transportation to the venue?

Answer

We will have 2 buses leaving from Coconut Grove at The Mutiny Hotel, 2951 S Bayshore Dr, Miami, FL, 33133. Departure time will be 3:15pm. The buses will also return from The venue, back to Coconut Grove, leaving at 10:30pm.

Question

Is there any parking on the venue?

Answer

Yes! a big parking area will be available and someone will be there guiding you where to park, as well as providing security.

Question

Will there be any vegetarian or vegan options at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! When you respond back for you RSVP, please let us know of any special dietary needs that you have. It would be our pleasure to take care of that! Also, feel free to email or contact us beforehand to let us know, and we will start preparing a list.

Question

Should I stay in Miami or Homestead?

Answer

That really depends on what you want to do when you come to South Florida. If you stay in Miami, you'll find more nightlife activity and touristy things to do, and better food (in our opinion anyway). You will be close to where we live and transportation in the city is easier. In Homestead, you will be closer to the Florida Keys, the Everglades National Park, and the venue. Homestead is a rural area where you can relax. We will be staying in Homestead at least on Saturday, and will likely go to the Keys for Sunday and Monday nights, coming back Tuesday.

Question

At what time should I be in the venue?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5:00 pm. You should be at the venue around 4:15pm - 4:30pm.

Question
