Violet Crain
Sister of the Bride
Zoë met Violet when they were 3.5 and 0 years old, respectively, and Violet was placed in her arms in the hospital. With Violet, Zoë knew deep in her soul that she was about to get a younger sister. She recommended to their parents that Violet be named Cinderella. Though this wish was not granted, that does not make Zoë love Violet any less. Violet was the first member of Zoë's family to meet Joe - at a soccer game, many months before Joe and Zoë started dating.
Anabelle Scalora
Sister of the Groom
Anabelle is Joe’s younger sister and oldest friend. At times, when they were young, she relished getting under his skin. For periods of time, he pretended like she didn’t exist. But, absence must have made their hearts grow fonder because, while away at college, Joe and Anabelle’s relationship evolved into a strong bond rooted in support, understanding, and adventure. Anabelle was the first person Joe told about Zoë. She was the first family member Zoë met. She was there to help Joe find Zoë’s ring, and she was there to celebrate their engagement right after he proposed. It’s only fitting that she be by Joe’s side on his wedding day as well.
Ewan Crain
Brother of the Bride
Zoë met Ewan when she was almost 7. Devastatingly for her, the parents Crain once again did not adhere to her request for sibling naming (this time: Prince Charming). Nevertheless, their relationship has not suffered. Joe and Zoë love to visit Ewan in Oregon and geocache together, and Ewan is an eternal good sport when Joe requests to visit the University of Oregon store where he scours each floor looking for Justin Herbert merch. Along those same lines, Ewan now has a built-in point of contact for his football questions.
Lucas Scalora
Brother of the Groom
Lucas is Joe’s baby brother, no matter how old they both grow. Being 5 years apart, it was difficult for Lucas to find many victories growing up. Thankfully, Lucas is relentless and undeterred. A lesser man may have soured on his older brother. Joe and Lucas now share much in common, and can accidentally spend hours on the phone talking about tennis, chess, or Star Wars. Lucas and Zoë even share a talent and love for music, with the two of them showing off their skills at Karaoke or over a piano. Lucas is also a great uncle to Joe and Zoë’s cats, Bat and Georgia.
