This brewery is conveniently located in the same plaza as our hotel! They have great beer and delicious food. Zac and Kate (and Kate's mother Joyce) LOVE their brussels sprouts appetizer.

A wine bar conveniently located in the same plaza as our hotel! They have tons of wines and cocktails to choose from, including a self-serve wine bar. Great environment to hang out and have a few drinks.
New York State Museum
A great museum to explore the natural and cultural history of New York State. Free admission. Open Tuesday through Sunday, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm. Closed all state-observed holidays
Indian Ladder Farms
A local orchard with pick your own berries, apples, and pumpkins. They also have a cidery and biergarten. Zac highly recommends their apple cider donuts.
Central Park Rose Garden
The rose garden in Central Park located in Schenectady is breath taking!
Washington Park
There's always fun events going on in this park, and it's a great place for a walk.

The Nest
One of our favorite restaurants in Schenectady - all of their food is delicious! We highly recommend their fried chicken and their short ribs.
Centre Street Public House and Beer Garden
They have a fun outdoor bar area with firepits. There's always music on the weekends, we highly recommend hanging out there weather permitting!
Frog Alley Brewing.
A local brewery with tasty beer and lots of great live music on the weekends. This place gets very crowded and is very fun if you want to listen to music and dance.
