Travel

On this page you can find information and sources to help you with planning flights, accommodation and transportation. We understand that planning a trip across the world can be tedious, so we did some of the work for you! Don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions. NOTE: Hotel blocks have not been booked yet. Hotel blocks will be available once formal invitations have been sent. From our two hotel options, we plan to stay at The Clements Hotel.

Travel Note

NZeTA & IVL applications

A New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority and an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy is required for travel. Allow 72hrs for your NZeTA request to be processed. To apply you will need a valid passport that you will use to travel to New Zealand, a credit card or debit card (Visa or Mastercard), an email address, and a photo of your face, or a device that can take one. Photos must meet all requirements. You must also pay an IVL, which funds tourism infrastructure and helps protect the natural environment. You pay the IVL at the same time as you request your NZeTA.

Flight

Hamilton International Airport

When booking flights, please keep in mind that New Zealand is 19hrs ahead of the US & takes 20+hrs to fly to. For example, if you book a flight to depart on October 8th in the US, you will arrive in New Zealand October 10th or later due to crossing an international date line.

Travel Note

Airport Transfers

Guests are responsible for transfers from the airport to their hotel as well as departing transfers. Lyft and Uber are available services to use as well as local taxis. We recommend comparing options to find the best choice for you and your family.
